"Can you stand?" Elena asked after examining Karen's leg.
"I'm not sure."
She bent and carried her up, then moved into the bathroom. She placed her on a chair in the bathroom, removed her dress carefully and began to clean her up with a towel and perfumed water. After it, Karen helped herself into another set of clothes and stood from the chair with Elena's help.
"I think I can walk," she spoke again and held the wall with her left hand before dragging her feet forward. She paused, breathed out and then continued.
"Be careful," Elena voiced out.
"I will," Karen replied, and continued that way till she was out of the room. She moved through the corridor slowly with the support of the wall.
