"Come here, Minnie," Gwen cooed as she stretched her palm forward towards the brown horse before her.
The horse walked closer and bent to eat the sugar cubes in her palm and she chuckled lightly as she caressed the horse's face while it ate the cubes.
"That's the name you chose for her? Minnie?" Hector's voice sounded behind her and she turned to see him dusting his palms.
They were both in the wide stable where the several horses were kept and Hector had just closed in his black horse in its private stable.
"Yes. It's a cute name, right?" She chuckled.
"Sounds all girlish."
"It's a female horse, Hector!"
"Yeah. Whatever." He laughed a bit, then moved to caress the horse's face as well.
"She's the perfect match for you," he commented, still rubbing the horse's face gently.
