Chapter 12 The night would not pass quickly, and to make it worse, there was no moon. The den was pitch black and Nahtaia jumped at every movement from the men. After Oren had brought Kale from the ground, she insisted they both sleep on the opposite side of the den. She would not have another man touch her. Oren scoffed at the thought but did as was requested. Kale gave her a bit more of a hard time, not because he wanted to sleep beside her but because he was concerned.
