Elena’s POV: “Care to share where you just came from?” The sharp voice cut through the air, and I turned to face Rachael, who stood there with her hands planted firmly on her hips. “Nowhere, just needed some air,” I murmured, attempting to sidestep her as I made my way toward the bathroom. “Funny, because you seem to need an awful lot of ‘air’ these past few days,” she shot back, her tone dripping with skepticism.
