“How do you know?” My brow furrowed deeply.
“I’m his grandfather. I’ve been with him for years, since his parents died. I know he trusts you, even though you’ve betrayed him twice. One day, he might realize his feelings for you are deeper than he thought.”

I was increasingly confused by his words. He was rambling.
