Sade’s POV
Sade sighed as she placed the last bag by the front door, shaking off the exhaustion from the long week. She had been working late every night, but since she was salaried, she could afford to leave early today. Dressed in yoga pants and a cutoff shirt over a snug sports bra, she relished the rare moment of quiet as she finished getting the twins ready.
Trinity and Justice were settled on the couch with a snack when the front door flew open.
"Mom! Mom! Look!" Marco Jr. and Kamari rushed inside, their faces beaming with excitement.
Kamari held up a certificate, her voice bubbling with pride. "I won first place in the spelling bee for my grade!"
Sade's heart swelled. "Oh my God, my smart girl! That’s amazing!"
