The conference room was already alive with quiet energy. Interns Trevor and Susan bustled around the space, connecting cords, setting up the projector, and organizing folders at each seat. They worked quickly under the watchful eyes of their mentors, Trevor, trying to impress Sienna; and Susan, focused and precise, as always, knowing Knox expected excellence.
The partners were beginning to arrive. Carmen Michaels walked in first, speaking quietly to Clifton and Crandon, who followed behind. Kira entered with a no-nonsense stride, and Kole gave a curt nod as he took his seat.
