Rainbow POV
Parking in front of the photography studio, my mp3 player was still on. "Anxiety" by Doechii started, and it seemed fitting for my current situation.
I was excited but nervous to go through with the photo shoot. I should have brought Mariah, she would have boosted my confidence right now. I thought as I looked up.
Staring at the sign above the studio door while listening to the singer crying out; "I get this tightness in my chest." I gripped the steering wheel with both hands.
The placard read ‘The Boudoir Bunny Photography Studio’ in pink letters, with the silhouette of a sexy woman leaning against the left side of the words like it was a wall.
Rainbow entered the front door as a middle aged man and an attractive blonde woman exited the back of the studio.
"Thank you so much, Bob. That was an incredible session." The attractive lady had a grateful smile on her face.
"Yeah. You looked great. I'm sure you will have a hard time picking out the shots you want to keep." He flashed a genuine smile and placed his hand on her lower back as she turned towards the exit.
She returned the grin and blushed. She gave Rainbow a knowing glance before heading out.
Looking at Rainbow, he spoke. “Hello, welcome to The Boudoir Bunny.”
"Thank you. You must be Bob?" Rainbow asked.
"Yeah. You can call me Bob, or Bunny. Rainbow, right?" He grinned at her.
"Okay, Bob, I'm here for my five PM shoot." Nerves immediately took hold, and she shuffled from foot to foot and stared at the floor.
"Nervous?"
"A little."
"Don't be. You'll do fine and we'll have a wonderful time." He opened the door to the back and motioned for her to follow him.
He looked older than Rainbow. Gray streaked through his hair and his well-groomed beard, making her guess his age was anywhere from thirty to forty. He looked extremely sexy, though.
Rainbow couldn't help but check him out as she walked toward the door. At the free studio, women and men were posed in different angles. They looked like they had just stepped out from a tv show as they looked extremely good.
She gasped as she noticed a woman in another room who was tied up having a candle burn drip on her breasts. It was more vivid than what she had imagined but didn't say anything. The more she walked behind Bob, the more she felt and saw more.
Once she entered the inner studio, she took it all in. It was different from the previous room. Lights, backdrops, and furniture filled the central space. A classy room separator with a beautiful plum tree and red plums design was to the right. He had several cameras laid out on a table.
Against the wall to the left stood a king- size four-poster bed. She wondered if Bob slept there or if it was only for shoots. A sensual symphony was playing, but the volume was low. She didn't know the song's title but she could tell it was Aurora’s voice and appreciated the melody.
"So what did you have in mind today, Rainbow?" There was a seductive growl in his voice. When he said her name, she noticed it but she decided to brush it off. She sat her duffel bag down on the table before turning to face Bob.
"I have no idea, really. I just wanted to be more confident in my body, explore my sexuality and tick my list done. But what I saw – maybe I should leave."
Bob’s smile changed to a look of concern. "Rainbow. If you're not feeling up to it, I wouldn't expect you to pose today. I see the best results when my clients are loose and happy. We can always reschedule."
Rainbow hesitated. She wanted to do this, but now she was having second thoughts. Bob's words seemed like Mariah’s as echoed in her mind - "loose and happy" - and she realized that she wasn't feeling either of those things today, not after bumping into Audrey earlier.
Audrey’s group of friends had ambushed Rainbow before she had the opportunity to leave school. They snickered and jeered said silly things.
“Heard she’s so bad in bed, a man would have to get a blowjobs from his gender to jerk off.” It wasn’t true but it hurt bad that Audrey joined them to laugh knowing well what had happened that day.
"I don't know, Bob," she said bringing herself back to reality, "I just feel really nervous, I guess."
Bob nodded understandingly. "I get it. It's normal to feel nervous when trying something new, especially when it involves vulnerability like this. Why don't we take a break, and I'll show you some of the photos I've taken so far? Plus they’re are not as wild as the ones you saw in communal rooms. Those ones by the semi transparent curtains prefer something more… over the limit. Sometimes seeing the images can help you relax and get a sense of what we're going for."
Rainbow agreed, and Bob led her to a nearby computer where he began scrolling through the photos.
"Wow, Bob, these are really great," Rainbow said. The pictures she saw resembled nothing like those over at the communals. They were more simple, ladies in a single shirt or in long robes.
Bob smiled. "So, as you know, this is a boudoir shoot. You don’t have to do anything you don’t feel comfortable with but be sure to communicate with me about what feels good and what doesn’t. I suggest this to everyone that wants to step outside of their comfort zone.”
“This isn’t p**n, so I don’t allow penetration of any kind, but any form of nudity is allowed. I like to keep it sensual and erotic, but not graphic and gratuitous. Sexuality is such a huge part of a relationship, leaving my clients bared to themselves.” He added.
Rainbow shifted in her seat at the image he painted, and her mind flooded with thoughts of how this would turn out. After a long thought, Rainbow nodded. "Okay, let's do it."
Bob grinned and gestured to a nearby rack of props. "Great! Let's see...what kind of vibe are you feeling? We've got feathers, flowers, and even some fun wigs."
Looking through the selection of easy-access dresses, she decided on a black wrap dress she had brought herself and kept her pumps on. She didn't feel like her slittelos would do the work. She picked a blonde wing that was on the props stand, and put it on. Looking in the mirror, she tossed my hair again and puckered her lips. “Eat your heart out, Jonathan.”
She tugged the V of the dress open a bit more, exposing her cleavage to its best advantage and stepped out to the studio. The music had changed and a soft jazz played in the background, setting the mood.
