Cruel joke

Waking up, I walk down. Damon turns and smiles at me. "Morning Ray, Coffee?" Nodding, I smile. "Yes please, Mr Darcy. Sorry, Damon. I didn't sleep too well." My sentence ends with a yawn as if my brain was trying to confirm my words. "No problem. You can call me anyone till you are comfortable with calling me by my first name. Is my son keeping you awake?" He smiles at me. "Not exactly. My mind wouldn't quiet down." It kept repeating Jonathan's words over and over. "Ah, well, hopefully you will sleep better tonight when you are back at your place." I nod at him and watch as Jonathan walks down. "Morning pops. We best leave. Long drive ahead of us." Jonathan says not even glancing at my side as he grabs his jacket. "Okay, come spend time here more often, both of you!" Damon responds before proceeding to hug me. "It was so nice to see you, Rainbow." We say our goodbyes and leave. The drive back is quiet. I wonder if his mind is on what happened last night. I mean, he might think it's nothing. Sure, we were covered as the table hid his hands snaking up my knees in between my thighs, but his dad was still right there. I feel like he's in a bad mood because I refused to let him have his way with me also after that. Or maybe I'm over reacting, and he's right. Maybe it is just me, and I do worry too much. We get back to my place and still on no talking terms, he walks me to my door. Just as I opened my door and decided to apologize for last night, he walks through the door and grabs me. His kiss becomes forceful as I walk backwards into the bedroom. His hands pull my clothes off as we make our way to my room. My body falls back onto the bed, his lips on mine as he climbs onto me. "We need to be quick babe. I'm late for my meeting." He pushes his trousers down and thrusts into me. His hips speed up instantly. My moans get louder as I grab him and hear him groaning in pleasure as he thrusts a final time before moving off me without allowing me to reach my c****x. I watch as he gets dressed and walks out of the room. Not even a kiss goodbye. I don't get this. My girls always talk about s*x and talk about how amazing it is. For me, it's just no big deal. Even though Jonathan was my first and probably the only guy that I would ever have s*x with, it does not amaze me like they all yap about. It's something I know I could live without. It's nothing that epic or amazing. If anything, it's boring and not fun. -- 3 Months Later I walked into my apartment, exhausted. I dropped my bag on the floor and knocked off my shoes. I had such a rough day at work today. I never knew a regular nine to five job could be so stressful. Just as I was about to change into something comfortable, I heard my phone notifications. Checking it, I see that my long awaited girl's night out was tonight and Mariah had even texted to remind me. I smile feeling very excited. My wedding is in three weeks and the setup plans have been so exhausting. Although Damon and my aunt suggested I hire an event planner to take things off my shoulders, I still need to pick out what I want. Also, Jonathan's been acting a little strange lately and I indirectly blame the wedding jitters but a night with my girls is what I really needed to relax. Quickly, I texted back to assure her of my arrival. "Make the pizza extra greasy, I want a night of fat." I had been cutting down my calories and indulging in intermittent fasting because I had caught Jonathan liking one of a model's picture and he blamed it on me relaxing and not being as fit as when we met. Mariah calls it a red flag for him as she loves my curves but Audrey seems to like the fact that I'm also taking cautious effort to slim down. Red flag or not, I'm walking down the aisle with Jonathan Darcy in three weeks. A few hours later, I am seated down with my girls – Mariah and Tianah, eating caramel popcorns, laughing and watching romantic comedy movies. While we turned to devour our greasy pizza and sip our wine, the conversation turned to our favorite topics: MEN. We were all giggling and sharing stories when Mariah suddenly piped up, "Let's play a dare game!" Tianah and I exchanged a skeptical look, but Mariah was insistent. "Come on, it'll be fun! We can take turns giving each other dares, and if you refuse, you have to pay a penalty." Tianah had started dating a guy but it wasn't serious and we also knew Mariah was into dating new guys weekly. If she spots a red flag, she's out of the relationship, I hesitated for a moment because I really didn't have any much history with guys, but Tianah was already nodding enthusiastically. "Okay, fine," I said, laughing. "But no embarrassing dares, deal?" Mariah grinned mischievously. "Deal! But don't expect any mercy." The game began, with Mariah giving Tianah a dare to sing a silly song in front of us. Tianah hesitated at first, but then burst into a hilarious rendition of 'Wrecking Balls'. We laughed till we could not stomach the laughter any more. Next, it was my turn. Mariah thought for a moment before giving me a dare. "Text your fiancé and tell him you're having a wild night with the girls." I rolled my eyes, knowing Jonathan might be too busy to check it but I still had to do it. I quickly typed out a message, trying to make it sound as innocent as possible. Just as I hit send, and showed my friends proof, my phone buzzed with an incoming message. But it wasn't from Jonathan. It was from an unknown number. I frowned, and thought about deleting the message. Ever since the public found out that Jonathan was off the market, I have had different messages from people, especially ladies. I hesitated for a moment before opening the message. My heart skipped a beat as I read the words. "Seems your fiancé likes keeping others company." Curiosity got the better of me, and I clicked on the attached image. My heart sank as I saw a blurry photo of Jonathan with another woman, a brunette, his arms wrapped around her waist, his lips inches from hers. Feeling llike I had been punched in the gut. The image was grainy, but there was no mistaking Jonathan's smile, his eyes, his unmistakable brown hair. I tried to brush it off, telling myself it was just one of those pranks and that wasn't real. The more I continued to stare at the image, the more I zoned out of the game. I looked up to see Mariah and Tianah staring at me, concerned. "What's wrong?" Mariah asked. I hesitated, unsure if I should share the message. But something about their worried expressions made me open up. "I just got a weird text," I said, showing them the message. Tianah's eyes widened. "That's not right! Do you where he is tonight?" Shaking my head, I reply. "I have no idea. But he told me he was going to his friend Jordan's tonight." Mariah put a reassuring hand on my arm. "Don't worry girl, it's probably one of those scheming wannabe ladies. You know your man is a hot cake. The pictures are probably photoshopped too. Let's just forget about it and enjoy the rest of the night, okay?" Was this a cruel prank, or was Jonathan really cheating on me? Nodding my head, I try to push the message out of my mind. I trust Jonathan. He wouldn't cheat on me. We are getting married in a few weeks for christ sake. He can't. The pictures are photoshopped just like Mariah said. Instead of moping around, I busied myself and had fun with my girls before retreating to bed.
