USS Missouri, Gulf of ArabiaAdmiral Troy Downey sat across the table from Admiral John Stone, the Commander of the US Fifth Fleet. Having joined the academy for naval officers a couple of years apart they had known each other for over twenty years.
Also sitting in the operations room of the aircraft carrier, USS Missouri, were Air Marshal Walter Reiger and Conrad Dexter.
Conrad Dexter was an employee of Exxon, one of the largest US oil corporations.
