The 3330 subcrystals were in every respect similar to the dodecahedral White Crystal. Of course there were also the three triangular crystals that were at the central core of the crystal, whose makeup was different in that they were capable of particular unilateral functions, such as for example, one end being only input, while the other only output and the crystal in-between acting like an ‘arming latch’, which of course was something that they still did not know. All those similar subcrystals were acting simultaneously as inputs and outputs, depending on the function of the crystal, while only 360 of those were actually visible, as we said before, on the surface of the crystal.
