At first, Tobias decided to wave the question and not even bother to ask her, but there was a way Cassie continued to act that made him a bit confused and interested in knowing why exactly she did not want him close to her.
“There must be a reason why you don't want me close to you. Can you at least just let me know? Let me just know a little bit about what is going on,” he said to her as she laughed.
“You don't need to know anything. All you just have to do is wait till you get to the hospital and your brain is scanned, and if possible, the doctors can amend back that brain of yours which we don't know the kind of accident or whatever torment you had to pass through that you lost your memory,” Cassie said, but Tobias could see it in her voice that she was angry.
