Darius's POV
I opened my eyes just to see what I had never seen in my entire life, a lion was right in front of me.
I paused, behaving like someone who had died and the animal used his hand to scratch my body. For sure, he would be perceiving blood and want me for his next meal.
Immediately, I called on my wolf, Ruffus.
"Take over me now!" I said to him and without wasting time, he took over me.
I jolted up on four legs, facing the lion with a spiteful glance while going back, creating space for him to launch an attack.
The lion followed Ruffus as he moved backward. Ruffus started gritting his teeth and when they had gotten to a clearer space, Ruffus turned around, making the lion confused, and climbed on the body of the lion, biting him hard.
