Observing

All week I had that guy on my mind, from the academy. Why am I letting him bother me so much? We made it to the second week!! I heard Thomas yell from behind me as I was putting my things on the dolly they had to help us get our things to our rooms. I smiled and said we did. Didn't we? How was your weekend? It was good she replied and yours? My went pretty good, I got to talk to my younger three I get them here soon from their father. She looked confused. Oh, umm so I lost custody battle to my ex-husband but its okay though I still get to see them, I replied.

Spent it with my oldest though she lives with me she didn't want to stay I had continued. Hey. girl thanks for the notes, a recruit came up to me and said. You are welcome any time I had replied with a smile. What has you distracted Thomas replied or should I say who has you distracted she smiled. No one, I said. You have only known me for a week and you can already tell that I am distracted. Yes, she replied with a giggle I read body language, and I read it very well. Is that guy from last week you two were sure eyeballing eachother every time we went to chow. I rolled my eyes and gave deep breath. Fine, I said. I can't seem to figure him out, nor can I tell how old he is. I am 31 years old, Thomas stopped dead her tracks and said your 31! I replied with a laugh yes how old did you think I was? Like mid 20's she replied. I replied with a smile on my face and said no. But anyway what does age have to do with? Age because if he is still a baby in his young 20's well I won't talk to him but if he is well I will talk to him but nothing more.

Thomas looked still confused, I am not understanding she replied. Thomas, I told myself I won't get involved with anyone just focus on me and my children. A leaf, a new life. What makes you think you are going to get involved with him? Maybe he just needs a friend. She replied. I had already filled that spot and that is with you I replied. Oh, Brauning you need to expand your horizans she laughed. Fine I will observe him for these next couple of weeks then I will see from there okay. Couple of weeks she screeched. We have 7 weeks left of the academy. Thomas, I looked at her I am not interested I am happy being single. Mhmm.. she gave that side eye.

The next day, I was walking from chow, and that same boy we were talking about looked at me as he was standing in line. I closed my eyes and nodded as a gesture of hello, he did the same back. His eyes I had thought once more, he's hurting, he's mad and he is angry. But why, I was curious. Later that day, after the academy a guy named Hicks had popped in my e-mail telling me thanks for the notes. I had gotten so many e-mails from so many recruites I didn't bother responding.

I went for a run like I had done at home, to relieve some stress and running has always been my favorite for me. A car that had tinted windows and fuzzy dice and what looked like a bullet hanging from the review mirror had stopped me. It was the guy from the academy, I pulled my earbuds out and looked at him and asked if I could help him.

He looked up and down at me and scratched his head. May I help you I said once more. Ummm... get in he replied. I had laughed who do you take me for I had asked. Just get in he gripped his steeling wheel. Uh no, I put my ear buds back in and began to run.

How weird as I thought to myself, hes really angered.

About 30 minutes later on my way back from my run it gotten dark. I ran through the woods they had near the hotel to get back quicker. When I heard leaves shuffle and a twig break. I turned around and nothing was there. I could see the hotel from where I was and I took a deep breath, but before I could reach I was stopped by the blond hair blue eyed guy. I put my hand on my forehead and took a deep steady breath. You freaking scared me, what do you want I said. First it was the car and now. He stood there quiet and didn't say anything and before I tried to continue to talk more he put his finger over his lips telling me to be quiet.

I tried to walk around him and he put his arm out and makes a huff. He pulls me close to get to my ear and whispered, someone has been following you. The only one I said that has been following me is you I replied in whisper. Now let me go! I shouted. If you don't let me go I will scream. Before I could move I was being flung behind him, Go! He quickly looked at me and shouted. His eyes were a Golden color instead of blue. Go! he shouted once more. I quickly got up and started to run as fast I could to the hotel. I quickly got to my room and shut the door, got in the shower to calm my nervs. What was that as I sat in the shower, what the hell is he? About ten minutes after I got out of the shower, I heard a knock at my door. I looked through the peep whole, it was him whomever he was from the academy and from the woods and the car. You know when I attempted to observe I didn't mean to have contact at all.

I know you are in there he said standing behind the door. I opened the door, with a confused look on my face and little bit angry. First thing first you can't be in the female's hotel second I don't even know who you are why are. Third why are you being a creep! I said with a loud whisper. He gave me a side smile and pushed my door open all the way. May I come in he asked. Uh.. No! I said. To bad I am coming in he brushed beside me and walked in. I stood there with a blank look on my face in shock. I shut the door already knowing I am already in the whole because one he is in the girl's hotel looking for me I guess and its 9pm hopefully the FTO's already did their rounds early tonight cause I don't want the consequences after telling him to leave and he didn't listen.

I walked over to my bed, he sat on the couch looking at me with a blank face.

What do you want? Wait, I replied first off who are you? I crossed my arms. He held out his hand and said Hicks you didn't respond to my e-mail. I am not shaking your hand sir. Who are you he said. Clearly you know who I am I replied. He laughed actually I don't I know your last name which is Brauning but not your first. He responded. You don't need to know my first name. We aren't on a first name basis I replied. Last names are just fine, now what do you want.
