(Malik) The twilight sky draped a cloak of violet over the ancient citadel of Eldrath. The air was thick with anticipation, the kind that rustles the leaves like whispers between old friends. This night was not just any night, but the night of our festival - a gathering between two worlds that seldom acknowledged one another. I stood at the balcony of my castle, surveying the grounds below where my people were busily erecting tents adorned with emerald and ruby hues, symbols of our vampire houses.
