He’d known putting a wolf out there to watch the King’s Eyes was a risk of insulting them, but he also didn’t want them sitting around waiting on him, if he wasn’t in the Alpha’s office when and if they wanted to come and speak with him about anything.
He’d not told his warrior to spy on them, had put him in plain sight even so they’d know he was there. Then he had given very specific instructions to not listen to anything that they spoke of, to switch his wolfen hearing off, so there was no intrusion on them at all.
