By the time we were in the car with tacos on the way home, Sawyer looked ready to drop off any minute, so Santiago drove, and I sat in the back to tickle my son awake as needed. Then we ate, did a sponge bath with wipes, and headed to bed. I spent a few minutes snuggling my little boy and realizing just how much I’d missed him.
