Chapter 6: Deadly Cyn Aunt Cyn is a drinker. I was not surprised when I pulled to the end of her driveway and saw her sitting on the side of her garage with a case of beer by her side. She waved enthusiastically at me as I drove past her, parked, and got out of the car. “Hey, you!” she shouted over an old radio she had cranked by her feet. “How’s tricks?” She was up and handing me a beer before we even hugged. “Hank! Your cousin is here; get your ass up from under that car!” I looked down and saw my cousin Hank’s legs underneath what I guessed were one of our uncle’s old cars. He mumbled something to which my aunt waved a dismissive hand and then threw her arms around me. I could smell the beer on her and the remnants of the cheap perfume she had worn since I was a kid.
