A deep growl rumbled from my chest.
I snapped.
With a roar, I slammed Harry against a tree, my claws pressing against his throat. The force shook the ground beneath us.
"You bastard!" I snarled. “Do you have any idea what they’ll do to her?”
Harry coughed but still smirked. “Oh, I know exactly what they’ll do.”
I pressed harder, my claws drawing blood.
"Give me one reason not to kill you right now."
His smirk didn’t waver. Instead, he leaned in, whispering, “Because if you kill me, you’ll never find Ella.”
My wolf howled in frustration. Damn it. He was right. If I ended him now, I might never find her in time.
