I whispered to myself, “I need to figure this out before it’s too late…” As soon as I got back to my place, I closed the door and let out a deep breath. A slow smile spread across my face. “Everything is going just as planned,” I said to myself, walking toward the window and pulling the curtain a little to peep outside. “Lydia didn’t even see it coming. And Marcus… he’s still confused.” I grabbed my phone quickly and dialed Dominic’s number. He picked up after the first ring. “Brother,” I said, “it worked. Lydia and Marcus didn’t suspect a thing. I gave them just the right amount of confusion and made sure they both believe I’m truly on their side.” Dominic sounded relieved. “That’s good news, Harry. Very good. This means we can finally stay two steps ahead of them. Keep playing along
