Ella's POV I sat quietly on the floor, still in the corner where I had thrown my food earlier. My eyes were wide and unfocused like a real madwoman, and I hummed a strange sound, rocking myself gently. I knew someone would be coming soon, either the maid or William again. Just as I expected, the door creaked open, and the maid entered. She looked scared to come too close, holding her hands together nervously. “Ella… come, let’s go outside.
