William’s POV I sat alone in my chamber, staring at the flickering flame of the candle on the table. My mind was heavy. My patience was thin. For days, there had been no sign of Ella. My best men were out searching, turning the forest upside down, but still… nothing. Then my phone buzzed. I picked it up lazily—until I saw the name. Dominic. William… I want to see Ella. Now.
