Dominic’s POV After making sure Ella was safe and settled with the healer maid, I stood in the doorway of her room for a moment—watching her sleep. Her breathing was calm now, more peaceful than earlier. I gently brushed her hair away from her face and whispered, “I’ll be back, my love… I’ll clean this mess for you and our pup.” Then I turned and left the estate. I rode fast, my wolf itching to come out, hungry for justice. My thoughts raced with everything happening. I couldn’t let the rogues think they had the upper hand, not after everything they’d done.
