Chapter-7 Asphyxiation

Chapter-7 Asphyxiation Lucien grabbed Whisper by the arm, turning her around forcefully. For the first time, her fear was evident in her eyes. Her bottom lips shivered at the sight in front of her. Lucien looked scary, as if he would just snap her soul out of her. His hold on her was so tight, she was almost sure he would leave a mark. A fierce scowl was plastered on his face; he looked like a battle ground. Rage, violence, antagonism, fury and wrath were all clearly sculpted over Lucien's face. She was scared, to move, as if one breath taken and she'd have his hand flying towards her. Just like that, she knew that her Omega had strengthened because if it was really Whisper in-charge she’d never let Lucien do this to her. ‘You always, manage to anger me, darling.’ Lucien pushed her against the nearest tree, and leaned close to her. His blue eyes darkened with fury, and a shiver ran down her spine because she knew she had no idea what Lucien was capable of doing. ‘How many times do I have to repeat it, before you actually listen.' He yelled and Whisper flinched at the sudden loudness of his voice. ‘Let me go, Lucien. You know I don't have any feelings for you.' She declared. ‘I don’t care, I want you and I got you. You don't get a say in this.’ ‘I will never marry you.’ ‘Yes, you will and I will make sure you do.’ ‘Keep kidding yourself.’ Lucien chuckled and laughed evilly, as if it was the most amusing thing he had ever heard. Something about that laughter told Whisper that her world is about to fall apart. ‘You still believe you can do that.’He traced her cheeks with the pad of his thumb, and Whisper wanted nothing but to jump away from the touch. But unfortunately, she was sandwiched between the tree and Lucien. 'Let's see.’ ‘Do whatever, you can. If you are Lucien then I am Whisper.’ She answered with fake confidence, because from inside she had no idea how she was going to save her, chastity, dignity and liberty. ‘We need to make some rules, so we can deal with that attitude of yours.’ He smirked. He found all of it so amusing, Lucien was obsessed with the denial and he loved a little chase, especially when he was sure he would win. 'With every tantrum that you throw, I take away one of your privileges and for now I take away your right to enter the war zone.’ He had not taken away her privilege; he had taken away her breathing, her life. War ran in her blood, that was what she did and Lucien had no right to take it away from her. But he had just done it, which made Whisper want to cry out in fury because the War was her art, and she was an artist of war. Her obsession, passion, love everything was just taken away from her with one snap of Lucien's finger, just like that her world was devoid of pleasure. For a minute it seemed like she wasn't breathing, as if her soul had just been ripped out of her only for her body to beg for it. ‘You can't do it.' She yelled almost on the verges of tears. Because in her case, she couldn't live without her weapons and dying was absolutely out of the question. Lucien couldn't have done anything worse. ‘Of course I can, darling, I just did.' He whispered in her ear, sending a chill all the way down to her spine that spooked her entire nervous system, especially her Omega. ‘Lucien, I am sorry or whatever you want me to say, I won't say a word, but please don't take my right, it is all I have especially when my freedom is gone.’She protested and she had no idea how she had managed to conceal the stutter in her voice, because a huge lump was bobbing up and down in her throat. ‘Do whatever you can. You said it seconds ago and I just did that.' He arched his right eyebrow, with a smirk playing on his lips.‘Be careful what you wish for, because I might just listen.' He tucked a piece of hair behind her ear. ‘Why are you doing this to me, we were friends. You know how important war is to me.’ ‘We are much more now. We were friends and so I know your every weak nerve, you've shown me your wounds and I will make them worse if you go against me.’He answered touching Whisper's left shoulder, where rested her first ever scar from war. Her eyes widened at the realization, that Lucien's words were truer than ever. Lucien knew her better than anyone else, which wasn't a problem before, but surely had become a problem. ‘This game is going to be so fun.’He kissed her cheek, his lips lingering there for too long. ‘See you at the declaration of the date.’ ………. Whisper knew what she had to do, but she needed time, only, if the wedding date could be delayed. Christian would definitely listen to her, after all he was her godfather. Once she got, a little time she could do something, at least think of something or in the worse case, run. All she needed was time, that she was losing every passing second. ‘Christian, I need help.’ She asked while entering the gazebo, that had been especially prepared for the pack elder or Christian. ‘Whisper, I know what you've come for but I can't give it you.’ He declared. For a second, she was confused, how did Christian know about it, but then it was all solved, after all this was his job. But then disappointment surrounded her. One thing, that she needed to save herself couldn't be given to her because of some unknown reason. ‘Why not?’ Whisper questioned almost abruptly. She felt betrayed, because she always treated Christian like Saige, but if it had been Saige he'd know what he had to do, that is, not let Whisper down. ‘I have my loyalty at stake, Whisper.’ Christian tried to explain, his foremost duty was the Ebony Woods and he wanted to remain honest to that. He looked up at her, with apologetic eyes only for her to shake her head with hurt. ‘I thought you could help.’ Just like that, she left, with her broken hope trying to cheer up her heart. ………… ‘Tell the date, Christian.’ Lucien ordered. Whisper looked at the ground because she was unable to look right into Lucien's eyes. She felt a hand wrap around her waist, which belonged to obviously the Alpha King himself. She looked at the crowd, who was desperate to listen to that one date that was going to destroy her life, if it wasn't already. Titania and Raina already left, feeling broken, which only made Whisper feel worse. She had almost given up, she could already imagine ways in which Lucien was going to ruin his life the way he wanted to. As if Whisper had just lost the hold of her leash to Lucien. If it could all end with another blink, she would be glad, but sadly dreams aren't this long. ‘I can't.’ Christian declared. Whisper snapped her head towards him with wide eyes. She couldn't believe her ears, she just wanted to rush up to him and thank him for saving her life. ‘Why not?’ Lucien questioned angrily, when he saw the smile that crept up to her lips. He knew something was wrong, that smile told so much more than it was supposed to. ‘The stars aren't in favor for any romantic bond for you, Alpha. If this relationship is sealed, it will act like a curse.’ He declared, making a loud gasp originate from the crowd. Whisper looked up at her godfather with eyes that said a huge thank you. If anything that could, ruin Lucien's day of victory was that news. He knew Christian, had done this under the influence of Whisper but he couldn't say this without a proof. Lucien was not only arrogant, he was a genius. He knew working of the brain better than anybody else and he knew, when to make the right move. Because if one right move can take him to the throne, one wrong move can led to a major fall. ‘Are you sure?’ Lucien asked sickly sweet and yet bitter. He gritted his teeth slightly and clenched his fist out of anger. He wanted to execute Christian, for betraying the Alpha King's trust. But if people trusted and respected Lucien, they loved and honored Christian. ‘I am positive, Alpha.' Christian slightly nodded and Whisper had to hold back a major smirk that threatened to spill on her lips and secrets. Though, she knew Lucien was immensely aware, that she had just outrun him. This was just the first round. This could be the first and the last round she won. ‘Probably then, we will have to discuss this date later, when stars are in my favor.’ He said looking at Whisper who had the courage to release the first smile of that day. ‘And you, my love, be prepared for a surprise.’ And that smile was gone too. ..................................................................................................................... The next day, was certainly awkward. Talon did nothing but got overprotective of his sister. As if, somehow he could still save her. Talon, at least knew what Lucien was going to treat her like. Whisper was not love for him, she was a trophy. Saige didn't say a word, but his silence said much more. He knew Whisper didn't want it, but he was not at all aware of the ways Lucien was going to treat her with. Edith looked happy, she was glad Whisper found a mate. The fact that it was Lucien only made her happier. Whisper never blamed her; after all she never told anybody the conversation that she had with Lucien. Adlecia did her best to calm everybody down. She tried her best to keep the house atmosphere optimistic, but her best efforts didn't help. Ezra had started giving her sympathetic looks, he was not aware of werewolf traits or manners, but he sure knew that Whisper was now trapped. The only rebel that had managed to rise among werewolves was now suppressed. Ace, didn't leave Whisper's side for a minute, he didn't know what had happened, but he sure knew something was wrong. Whisper, she was awake the entire night trying to think of ways she could save herself and she had three options. Surrender, Fight or Run. If she surrendered things will all go well, but then she will never be able to look herself in the eye. If she ran, she can easily escape her problems, but then Lucien will make the lives of her loved ones a hell. If she fought, she'll lose but at that moment losing was the best option for her. In the morning she almost reached for her soldier outfit, rambling that she was late for the morning assemblage, but she was reminded that she could never go back to that place again, not as a warrior at least. ‘Whisper, breakfast is ready.' Talon looked into the room where Whisper was staring at the wall with all the focus and no look in her green eyes. It had hurt Talon physically, as he tightened his hold on the door edge, ashamed that he couldn't help. ‘I don’t feel like coming.’She answered not diverting her gaze from his brother who stood at the door. Ace had fallen asleep in her lap, and Talon was not sure if Whisper was aware of this or not. The sound that bought both of them out of their trance was of the hooves of a horse, hitting the cemented road and they both immediately increased their awareness. Ace jumped up from her lap and stalked towards the window. He placed his first two legs on the window slit, and his hind legs stretched so he could look out. Whisper stood up from, her seat and stood beside Ace, soon followed by Talon. Her heartbeat stopped, it was the royal carriage. And she was scared, Lucien had already taken away her everything and now, if he is here for more, Whisper could only give him her life, because that was all she was left with. Last time, the royal carriage pulled at her house, her world turned upside down. She gripped the window slit and upon sensing the fear of his owner, Ace growled at the carriage. Whisper was too occupied to, stop him. She just let him do, what his primitive mind thought was right. The panther pulled at the sleeve of Talon's black shirt as if asking him to help. Talon stared at the innocent creature for a while, Ace had no idea that Whisper's brother already lost his fight. ‘I will tell him you are not home.’ Talon suggested already turning around to walk away and send Lucien off, but he was stopped by Whisper's hand on his wrist. ‘Don't.’ She commanded, walking towards the door followed by Ace. She would face Lucien, and she will face her problems because she would rather lose than cower away. ………......................................................................... Whisper was only on the top of the stairs, with Ace beside her when Lucien entered, spick and span as always, in a white shirt underneath a brown waistcoat, with a red cape wrapped around his neck, and tight gray pants. Edith and Saige stood up to acknowledge the presence, and Talon and Whisper stood at their older position on the top of the stairs. Adlecia scrambled into the room, noticing that the Alpha King had appeared at their doorstep. ‘My greetings Saige, Lady Edith and Lady Adlecia.' He addressed everybody present in the room with a nod and the generous smile, that showed nothing but smugness. 'Sorry for appearing without a prior information.’He said walking further in. He had already made himself comfortable, not worried about how distasteful Saige's glare was or how cheerful Edith looked. He stood right in front of Saige, his back now to the staircase. ‘I don't see-‘ And before he could continue, the much required presence made herself noticeable. ‘What are you doing here Lucien.’ Whisper questioned bravely. Her inner Omega, protested and she felt a terrible head ache that made her face wrinkle, but she hid it. Lucien smirked to himself, then turned around swiftly to look at his mate. ‘There you are darling, the apple of my eye, good morning.' He said almost teasingly the wide smile never leaving his face which annoyed Whisper. Talon held her hand as if to calm her down, Ace snarled angrily at the new member. ‘That doesn't answer my question.' She replied and this time the pain shifted to her knees, as if to make her kneel down. Edith glared at Whisper. ‘Whisper, where are your manners!' She scolded and Lucien chuckled walking towards the staircase and started walking to the top. ‘It is okay, Lady Edith; after all the reckless Whisper is what I really like.' He smiled wide at Whisper who had Goosebumps running up her arm at the sight of Lucien coming close to her. ‘If you forgot, I am the Alpha in this relationship. You are obliged to answer all my questions, I am not.’He wrapped his arm around her waist, and pulled her close. ‘But, because you've asked, I am here to take you to the palace.' He declared. Whisper's eyes widened out of pure shock, just like everyone else's did. ‘But-‘ as soon as she started protesting a pain shot up her upper arm, she had to bite her lips to muffle a cry of pain. The mate effect had become stronger, every time she spoke against Lucien, or protested her Omega did this to her body. ‘I will take it as a yes, pack your bags darling and take minimum; we have all the things in the palace.' Lucien said almost too calmly and scrambled down the floor. ‘Okay.’ Whisper nodded sprinting back to her room, so fast that for a minute Ace lost her, but then once she was inside the safety of her room, she took a deep relieved sigh. She slid down against the wall, with defeat. It was all too overwhelming, all of this. She swore she only blinked, and Warrior Whisper Bloodrose became Luna Whisper Nightshade. One night she was the free bird in the huge cage filled with trapped birds and another she was as good as a butterfly trapped in a web. She ran a hand through her hair, as if to calm herself down. Her loyal panther, came up to her and started licking her cheek affectionately, intending to make her feel better. She smiled slyly and gently pushed the animal away, brushing his soft, black fur. She placed her forehead against Ace's and took in a deep breath. She knew Ace was her most loyal and honest companion. He could take a bullet, for Whisper. But at that moment, he was giving her consolation and affection, something she needed the most. ‘We can do this, right.’ She nodded mostly to herself. She wanted to build her trust in herself up, that Lucien was not invincible, that Whisper will make it all alright. ‘Go down and see what Lucien is up to.’ She commanded softly and Ace scrambled towards the door soon leaving. Whisper started looking around the room to look for the things she would really want to take. She grabbed her sword and placed it on the bed, with her dagger, then collected her makeshift, acid pendant. Finally, she reached underneath the bed, to grab her bow. She pulled it out and started stringing it. She looked like she was going to war, and she somewhat was. ‘Precious, you know nothing about packing, do you?’ She flinched at the sound that made a drop of sweat run down her spine. The voice was so cold, Whisper could almost feel it. When she looked behind her, Lucien had already entered the room. She felt offended; Lucien was intruding her private space. She stood up abruptly, anger steaming in her. ‘How dare you enter my room?’ She yelled and an internal kick was sent to her knees making her fall down. She felt humiliated she had knelt in front of the man she had developed a fresh hatred for. ‘God, it hurts.’ She mumbled to herself, the impact was enough to break her knees; it was shot down her legs like electricity. ‘Oh my treasure, why do you keep hurting yourself.’ Lucien shook his head, from the looks of it he was definitely enjoying his victory. She angrily, bit her lip to hold back a sardonic reply. No injury was required, she needed to keep all her parts in the right way so she was able to bear her days in the palace. Lucien bent down to come face to face with her. Whisper had never seen that look in his eyes, one of pleasure, desire and triumph. Lucien must be happy, he felt as if he had just captured a territory outside the reaches of Forever Forest. ‘If you are forcefully taking me, I am going to make sure you don't get me in one piece.’ She shot back, and Lucien promised to put that smart mouth to good work once he took her where he wanted her. After all, now she was his possession, now her freedom was crumpled in his palm. ‘I am ready to carry you back to the palace myself, to make sure you don't hurt yourself, my beloved. Nobody, not even you, can hurt you other than me.’ He brushed his cheek a touch that was also rough enough to display possession and proud, but soft enough to make it feel like feathers. ‘I am wondering why I agreed on coming with you.’ Whisper angrily spoke making Lucien laugh. He laughed loud enough, as if Whisper had just cracked a good joke. ‘Darling, you think you agreed. Well, whatever makes you happy.’ He leaned close to her and kissed on her neck, making Whisper burn in disgust. But when she tried to push him away, her hands were somehow paralyzed. The mate effect should burn in hell. So she decided to let it all pass, she will only hurt herself in the process which was not required, when Lucien is doing it. She continued, because nothing could stop him. His lips traveled up her neck and down her shoulders, but Whisper only held her breath while fisting her hands. ‘And this spot.’ Lucien said in his ominously husky voice, while brushing his thumb against her lips in a slow, seductive fashion. ‘Is reserved for when we reach the palace.’ ……................................................................................................. Bidding a farewell was hard because Whisper wasn't sure when next, will she see all of the people she loved. She wanted to kill Lucien that very moment, but it was not possible. 1) Because he was way stronger. 2) The mate effect wouldn't let her kill him. 3) He was the king. ‘You'll miss them are you going to cry.’ Lucien said in a jeering tone, wrapping his arm around her waist and pulling her close. The carriage jumped a little at the bumps making Whisper's side crash with Lucien's almost again and again. ‘Not in front of you, at least.' Whisper looked away. She wasn't surrendering to him anytime soon, and Lucien definitely wasn't pleased with the attitude. He grabbed a hold of her jaw and made her look at him, straight in the eye. The scariest thing about Lucien's entire persona was his eyes, that changed every time with emotions. It scared her because they excessively darkened when he was angry. She tried to fight, but her inner omega wouldn't let her do that. Now, the only option on her list was, submit, at least pretend to. ‘Rule number one, never look away when I talk. I hate it.’ He declared with a low growl and a small unintentional whimper left her lips. Lucien curled his lips in a proud smile at the helpless sound. ‘I am sorry.' She apologized, and Lucien would lie if he'd say he didn't swell with pride at that thought. ‘No problem, princess. After all, I've fallen for you.’ He chuckled kissing her forehead and Whisper wanted to throw up that very moment. ‘We are here.’ Lucien said and immediately a couple of soldiers opened the door of the carriage for Lucien to get down. He grabbed Whisper's hand and made her follow, she was pulled into the palace by her mate. The scariest part was this time, she wasn't entering it as a warrior. ‘At least, I wouldn't have to show you around. You already know your ways around here.’ Lucien smiled, from the looks of it, he wasn't slightly troubled, and why would he be, he got all he wanted on a silver plate without moving around the limb. Kings are born with a weird destiny, their destiny is golden and loyal. It was Whisper in a glass case, where she can see everything but she has no share in it. Where her voice can't reach out, trapped, but unable to think. She wished she'd escape this phase of humiliation and gain back her dignity somehow. She forced herself to focus, trying also to ignore a sick feeling in the lit of her stomach. And she began to realize as fear stirred over her that the conclusion of the evening might not be as simple as she thought. Her life had taken a sharp turn and she could feel herself getting lost. She could feel this inner urge to surrender and get used to being treated like every other Omega. The war outside was the nothing compared to the one inside, where both her sides fought with each other to win. But none of the sides won, instead Lucien did. She was trapped in a never ending cage, with only one light escaping through a tiny hole. But even in this never ending cage, she could feel a terrible asphyxiation, she might as well wake up without air in her lungs. ‘This is my room, also where you are going to live from today.’ Lucien declared when they entered the largest boudoir of the palace. The Alpha’s room was always the largest one, and it depended on the Alpha if he wanted one of his mates to stay with him or if he wanted to stay alone. Surprisingly, the entire time Titania and Raina stayed in the place they never saw Lucien's chamber, he kept it away from the two. It was always him visiting them, only at night. Though they were officially his mates, he only belonged to them in the night. While he had given all of his to Whisper the first day itself, he gave him the right to enter the room that was exclusively reserved to him. They entered further until they were, in the middle of the room with Lucien's hand snaking her waist and brushing her side. ‘I don't want to stay here.’ She declared, afraid of how Lucien might react but she knew one thing. Lucien wouldn't hurt her, not yet at least. ‘Who asked, darling.’ Lucien smiled sickly sweet. That smile made, Whisper want to run away from this all like a coward. The devil illuminated his eyes, when Lucien curved his lips in that manner. ‘I am sorry.’ Her inner omega quickly apologized, looking down at the floor. She never let her head fall, but that day she was not Whisper. It was her inner Omega long gone, into Lucien's hands. ‘It's okay, you can ask me as many questions as you want.’ He whispered into her ear, his lips brushing the edge of her ears slowly. ‘Sadly, I need to leave. I am the Alpha as you might know. We are recruiting and I need someone to fill your space in the army.’ He chuckled teasingly. He knew it hurt Whisper to know that the space was now open for a new general. She thought the space will only be empty when, she sacrificed herself in the war zone. ‘You should go.’ Whisper looked away from his face and towards the wall. But in an instant, she felt a hard grip on her elbow. Soon she was turned around by Lucien, to face him. She had never seen such, rage in his eyes, she thought she might burn from all that heat. ‘One, don't tell me what to do.’ He said through gritted teeth, their faces only inches apart. All the poison that Lucien's words and voice had, could slip into Whisper's skin. ‘Two, Don't look away. You get it.’ He yelled and it made Whisper flinch, Lucien was so satisfied when he felt that shiver of her skin. She remained dead silent after the question was asked, unable to say anything. ‘Do you get it.’ He yelled louder this time, making Whisper flinch in his hold again. ‘Yes.’ She said loud enough, so Lucien doesn't make her repeat. She wanted to leave so bad, only if she could. ‘That is like my love.’ He kissed her forehead and Whisper was shocked again. He was intensively bipolar, one moment he could act sweet and almost loving, the next he was mischievously evil. One moment, he was a calm and composed ruler, the other he was an aggressive dominant. This double-act didn't confuse her, it scared her. ‘I am waiting for the moon to come.’ He said with a wink and then stepped away from Whisper. He then started walking towards the door, blowing a kiss her way, he left. She was in this too deep, and now she wasn't sure if she could leave. ……………………… She wandered around the palace, not wanting to go into that place ever again. Everything in that room had Lucien in it. The bed was perfectly made, but she knew who had slept there. The entire room smelled like Lucien. Every accessory in that room had the touch of him in it. Which scared her because he had left, but still hadn't left. As if she ran from Lucien, only to go back to a place that still had him. That room it dominated her, its fancy scared her. That room reminded that Lucien was more powerful in this game, and he'll remain until the game is over. In the corridors she saw Raina coming towards her and she immediately looked down, she was her criminal. In an attempt to get Whisper, Lucien had hurt Raina. But Raina, she walked with such grace, her head held in pride as if it didn't matter. Whisper was impressed, she knew how painful it could be for Raina, but she didn't show it. She was almost inspired by her. Her head was held high as she walked, in her spick and span dress. A floor length red dress, with a black shawl around her shoulders and not one sign of inelegance on her face. As she approached close, Whisper prepared herself for distasteful words or vile glares but nothing happened. Raina stopped, and their shoulders touched. She raised one hand and placed it on Whisper's shoulder in a soothing manner. This gesture made Whisper, look up into her elegant brown eyes and in a voice as soft as feathers, yet firm she whispered. ‘You'll be okay, just like we are.’ ……………….. Whisper lied awake in that bed, she couldn't sleep because she felt as if Lucien was still there and he would do something, when she is asleep. The blanket that was bundled around her feet made her feel that touch, Lucien's touch. It scared her, because Lucien was always there somewhere, creeping up on her. He was like the creepers of a forest that had trapped Whisper to the roots. The train of her vulnerable thoughts stopped when she heard the door screech, as it opened. She immediately knew who it was because no one else was allowed to enter the room except for Lucien himself, and now Whisper as well. Her heart leaped at thoughts of what might Lucien have in his mind, of things he was planning to do. Whisper could only imagine the things that this night could do to her. Her skin was already crawling at the thought of Lucien running his hands all over it. She gripped the sleeve of her shirt tightly, as if Lucien was tugging at it. Her breathing raced and she wanted to run once again. She closed her eyes, pretending to sleep when she felt a presence at the foot of the bed. Her heart pounded against her chest and she could hear her heart beats. Lucien stalked to stand right in front of her face. ‘Such a shame you are asleep, I definitely had different plans.’ She heard Lucien chuckle and then leave her side. She didn't dare to open her eyes, and she didn't realize when she actually fell asleep. …………........................................................... When she woke up, her back was pressed against Lucien's chest, his arms possessively wrapped around her waist. She immediately froze at the all to familiar touch. She didn't like it, she wanted to break free. Whisper tried to wake Lucien up by moving her body slightly, and she noticed movement in the arm that was wrapped around her. ‘That is not how you wake me up.’ He said in a gruff voice, that was slightly crooked due to the sleep, but it scared Whisper none the less. She showed no movement, and didn't speak a word. A few seconds passed, until Lucien tugged at her waist as if telling her to turn around. She obeyed without another word, because if she disagreed, she would only hurt herself, and she didn't need to hurt herself when Lucien was doing it for her. She was face to face with Lucien and that was when she realized that he was bare chested, with only loose knee high slacks on his legs. She had seen him in this state before, but today it made her feel weird, disgusted almost. ‘You slept last night, I was so disappointed.’ Lucien whispered, running his finger up her knee in a way that left her in goosebumps. She had tried to move away from that touch, but inner Omega wouldn't let her. She remained silent, not knowing what to say. ‘And sadly I have to leave today.’ She couldn't help the happy butterflies that erupted in her stomach, she could have a few days without him and probably in those days the room will lose the essence of Lucien that it had. ‘Where?’ She asked, unable to suppress the excitement that unknowingly left her lips. ‘You are certainly happy, your soon-to-be-husband is going to war, darling, show me a decent reaction.’ He laughed at his own comment but Whisper found it humorless. ‘Because your death wouldn't affect me the slightest.’ She replied through gritted teeth and saw the color in Lucien’s eyes darken. In one blink of her eye, Lucien was hovering over her. His body pressed her entire body down into the bed. One of his hands pinned her hands together above her head. She tried to push him away, but every time, one painful wave of electricity ran through her, hurting her thoroughly. She was soon tired of the internal pain, unable to resist it and yelled at her fifth attempt. ‘I would show you your position in this bed, only if I had time.’ Lucien growled angrily and he was so angry that Whisper could see his nails turn wolfish. She was scared again, at the sight of the angry Alpha who could hurt her so much. Whisper felt a shooting pain pass through her arm, and she soon realized that Lucien's grown claws had pierced through her skin. The torture had begun….. ………. Lucien left and the world felt free to Whisper, only for two days until the war was over. She was sure they would win, they only had to fight Rogues and it was easy. She finally slept in that bed that was Lucien's belonging, it was losing the essence of Lucien and it helped her sleep. Raina didn't talk much, but smiled whenever she saw Whisper. He figured out that Raina was subtle and calm in that context, who was being nice to someone, who apparently was suffering. Raina would occasionally show Whisper some of her paintings, and share her thoughts with her. Raina was what made it feel like home, sometimes. Titania hated the idea of being around Whisper. She had decreased her appearances outside her room, and stayed there the majority of the time. Whenever she crossed paths with Whisper, she would angrily turn her face, concealing her wrath in sorrow. Whisper would visit the garden, she had found temporary peace in the slowly blossoming flowers and the relaxing winds that blew. She would occasionally visit the old practice place, where she had learned her art. Art of war. It helped her think, on how to escape Lucien. A day passed in the blink of an eye, and the second day of Lucien's absence came. Whisper realized that Lucien could be back any time now, and she had not figured anything yet. Only if she knew that the solution that she was looking for had found her.
