By the time the entourage had arrived at the royal pack's castle, nobody was in the mood to marvel at the sights. Serena got out of the car with Jorah. In front of them stood a crowd of people. Some were expressionless, others showed disdain, and a few showed joy.
Serena noticed the older couple in front of the crowd. It didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out they were Jorah and Jared's parents. Normally, they would greet them first, but Jorah tugged Serena towards the car behind theirs.
He paid no attention to his parents or the people in front of them waiting. Serena pursed her lips and followed along quietly. Though she was concerned about these people, it couldn't trump her concern for Serenity.
