Yoru stands at the ground trying to cast some magic but the demon's spell have fully nullified any magic being casted within the field.
"Allow me to introduce myself, young man. I am Ryuto, one of the Dark Supreme Four".
"The Dark Supreme Four? Who the hell are you!? What do you want from Akari"!? Shu asked with a raging glare.
"We don't need anything from this girl. We just used her as a bait to lure the Magic Knights out. Looks like it worked out". Ryuto replied.
"It also seems like it's all worth the effort. You can use dark magic. You're coming with me back to the demon world". Ryuto added as he starts preparing his grimoire.
"I won't let you do anything as you please. I'll destroy you here"! Yoru said as he prepares his grimoire too.
"You can't even wield any magic power here in my spell. How are you supposed to defeat me huh"? Ryuto asked.
"Don't be so sure about that. I still have more to show to you". Yoru replied.
"Come forth, Shade"! A little being just came out of his grimoire.
"What is it this time Yoru"? Shade asked.
Ryuto was surprised from what he just saw.
"The Great Dark Spirit, Shade. So you chose this human as your new wielder huh". Ryuto said.
"I see. So you're not like the other mages. You must be talented and loved by mana given that you managed to attract a spirit". Ryuto added.
"It's a demon. A high-ranking one. I can see now why you've called me. I'll help out". Shade said to Yoru.
"Fine then. I'll play with you. Show what you got"! Ryuto said as he engaged Shu in close combat.
"Let's go, Shade"! Yoru said as he swung his sword to defend himself from Ryuto's attack.
"Oh. Not bad. I can already see how strong you are despite fighting only in your base form". Ryuto said.
"We'll really have to use that Shade". Yoru said.
"Go on. Assimilate the spirit's mana. Give me a good fight"!
"This guy. He knows the Spirit Assimilation. Have he seen it before"?
"Nevermind that. I must hurry up and defeat him".
"Let's go, Shade"!
"Yeah"!
Yoru started condensing Shade's mana and assimilating it towards him.
"Dark Spirit Assimilation: Spirit Dive".
"Well done. You deserve to be the spirit's wielde indeed. Don't disappoint me in our fight". Ryuto said as he applauded Yoru.
"May I know your name, young man"?
"The name of this young man is Yoru. Don't you dare forget it"! Yoru said as he jumped towards Ryuto to launch an attack using his sword.
"The fact that he can even assimilate the spirit's mana even with the presence of a Field Magic is already exceptional. I must not let my guard down". Ryuto said to himself.
Their close combat continued with Yoru keeping up with Ryuto's pacing.
"Dark Spirit Magic: Dead Star"!
"Hmm. What's this spell"?
As Yoru swung his sword towards Ryuto, more strength was added towards it.
"What!? How did he got a boost this much in his strength"!?
"You might be thinking the difference in my strength from earlier and now. It's all thanks to the spell I just used now".

Ryuto distanced himself from Yoru after managing to repel out his attack.
"Dark Sword Magic: Black Blade". Yoru prepared his sword for the longer fight he's about to deal with.
"It's impressive that even if the sword is not cloaked in Dark Magic, it's already this powerful. I'll give you that". Ryuto said
"Demon Spatial Creation Magic: Empty Sword".
"Now. Let's enjoy this battle".
Ryuto jumped towards Yoru and once again engaged him a close combat using his sword.
Their swords are striking each other. Moving at such an immense speed, Yoru is matching Ryuto's movements.
"Tch, he's getting a lot faster". Yoru said.
"Dark Spirit Sword Magic: Black s***h"!
Ryuto immediately used spatial magic to absorb the attack and immediately return the attack through spatial magic.
"You can have this back".

Yoru used the same spell to nullify the returned attack.
"You're one amazing swordsman, Yoru. Your Spirit Assimilation maybe incomplete but to think that it is already at the level of the other demons. But, don't think that you're on my level".

Yoru immediately go to search for Akari. As soon as he found Akari, he immediately carried her in his back.
His Spirit Assimilation disengages.
"Shade, make the Black Mist thicker so that it takes longer for it to disappear".
"Yes".
"Let's escape now".
As the mist disappears, Yoru and Akari is gone. Meanwhile, Ryuto is disappointed on Yoru.
"So he escaped huh. Disappointing. And here I am expecting for him to show me more of his abilities". Ryuto said as he opened a spatial gate to leave the human world.
Ryuto left the field returning to the Demon World.
"Tch, he managed to injured me on my left arm".
"It hurts so bad".
"Returning Akari back to the village is the priority. I can treat myself later".
As Yoru continued on running while carrying Akari, she suddenly woke up.
"H-huh? Shu"?
"W-woah? Where are we? The devils? What happened to them"?
"Can you please calm down, Akari? My left arm hurts. It's been injured. I must return you to the kingdom soon as possible".
"Put me down".
"Huh"?
"Put me down. I'll treat your injury".
"No need, my injury can wait. We don't know if the demon is chasing us. Good thing we have managed to escape".
"Are you always this hard to talk to"?
"Nope. Just don't worry about me. Your parents are worried you know".
"Sorry, Shu. I can't defend myself".
Their conversation continued while they are running.
"Don't worry about it. It's normal to be defeated by the demons since they are strong".
"Then what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be attending the school".
"Oh, about that, I've asked permission from the teacher to look for you".
"How did you find me then? What happened to the demons"?
She has a lot of questions. I can't tell her that I received my orders from the Wizard King and that I used dark magic to save her.
"Enough with the questions, we better hurry or the demon might catch up on us".
Yoru immediately cloaked himself in lightning so that they can travel faster. Soon enough, they reached the kingdom. On the gate, their teacher and other people are waiting their.
"Ohh there they are. Shu! Akari"! Yua shouted.
"Miss Yua, what are you doing here? I thought you were at the academy"?
"How can I teach in peace when two of my students are outside the kingdom"?
Yoru put down Akari.
"Thank goodness you two are safe", Yua said as she hugged Akari and Shu.
"I'm glad that you are relieved now Miss Yua but can you let me go, my left arm hurts".
"You should be fine from here, right"?
"Yes. Thank you for saving me, Shu".
"You're welcome. Then, I must keep going. I need to treat my left arm".
"U-uhh, Shu"!

Akari didn't managed to finish speaking as her parents appeared before her sight.
"Huh, Father? Mother"?
So those are her parents huh. As expected of the Royals, they look decent.
"You right there, young man. We need to talk". Akari's father said.
"Can this wait later? I need treatment for my injury on left arm"?
"I can treat your left arm", Yua said.
"I appreciate the help Miss Yua. But this is caused by a high-ranking demon. Normal healing magic won't work on this".
"If you'll excuse me, I'm off. My left arm really hurts".
Shu left the gate to go to the Wizard King and make a report.
"That boy, he must be no ordinary mage. The Wizard King told me that the demons who kidn*pped my daughter are high-ranking demons, there's no way he would get out of there alive. I must talk to that boy," Akari's father said.
"As for you, Akari, we will have a long talk tonight, go home and rest first".
"Y-yes"!
Yoru soon enough reached the palace. He is now in front of the door of the Wizard King's room.
"Wizard King, I'm entering".
"Oh Yoru. I'm glad that you came back safe". The Wizard King said with a smile in his face.
"Your left arm, it's injured". He noticed it.
Yoru immediately sat down as the Wizard King starts to heal his injury.
"It's rare to see you get injured on your missions, Yoru".
"The devil that I have clashed with is one of the Dark Supreme Four, Ryuto. He uses spatial magic".
"The Dark Supreme Four huh. Tell me more".
"They were just using Akari to bait us, the Magic Knights".
"Luring out the Magic Knights huh"...
"There we go, your injury is now healed".
"Your magic is amazing as always. Even though it's not healing magic. Your time magic is really convenient, Wizard King".
"Did the demon said more about the reason they kidn*pped Akari"?
"He didn't say anything anymore. That's all he just said".
"I see. Be careful from now on Yoru. We don't know what might happen in the future. Things are getting more dangerous".
"Yes Master Julius. I'm off now". Yoru said as he left the palace.
As Yoru reached his home, he saw a man waiting on his door.
"What do you want from me"? Yoru asked.
