The Day before the Magic Competition

A new day has begun. It is a day before the Magic Competition. And things for Shu that day didn't go the way he wanted.

*At Shu's house*

"What are you doing here, Princess Aoi"?

"You said yesterday that let's go out tomorrow, right"?

*Flashback at Shu and Aoi's fight*

"Now it's only you and me, Princess Aoi".

"Oh, I see. So you want me to split with Yuma. If you said right from the beginning that you want to spend some time with me, I will go out with you later".

Shu looks around his surroundings and he sees Aoi talking to his big brother at the tree.

"Mother already told you that you can't go alone. Even if you wield a dragon, it takes time to set an array. If you are ever targeted, then the Heart Kingdom will be in an unstable position". Tatsuki said.

Shu approaches them.

"If I am not mistaken, you are the big brother of Princess Aoi right, Prince Tatsuki"? Shu asks.

"Oh, it's you Shu. Just drop the Prince, you can call me Tatsuki".

"Also, don't worry about me. I am going out with Shu today". Aoi said.

"So you are the one whose going on a date with Aoi, Shu".

"W-what are you saying?!! Don't embarrass me in front of Shu like that! You are so stupid"! Aoi said as he hits Tatsuki in his head.

They began walking now.

"So, where do you want to go today, Princess, Aoi"?

"I'm not really the type to always go out so there's no place I want to go".

"Is that so? Guess we will just have to cancel this huh". Aoi said as she starts to look sad.

Meanwhile, Shu immediately come up with an answer.

"Oh. Why don't we just visit your Kingdom"?

"My Kingdom? The Heart Kingdom"?

"Yes. You must be familiar with your Kingdom since you are the princess so why don't we just go there? Let's go to your favorite places their".

"Sure. Let's go now".

"Hop on Shu. So we can get to the Heart Kingdom faster".

Shu hops on and they have now flee.

"We are here now Shu. Welcome, to Heart Kingdom"!

Shu's spell managed to destroy the spell that is casted.

"So this is the power of the wielder of Skylark. I wish to see the purple lightning but seeing the red lightning is also a rare opportunity so I am grateful".

"And, who the hell are you"?

"Why did you do that, Takeru"?

"My bad Princess Aoi. I just want to see the purple lightning".

"So you are the one in charge today at the entrance". Aoi said.

"Who is he, Aoi"? Shu asks.

"He is Takeru. He is a Magic Guardian also, just like Yuma". Aoi replied.

"I'm sorry for the attack earlier. I just want to see the purple lightning, but to think that you even have the red lightning. You are truly a talented mage, Shu. You will be a great Magic Knight one day".

I'm Magic Knight now after all.

"So, are you two, on a date right now"? Takeru asks.

"T-t-this is not -" Aoi didn't managed to finish speaking as Shu immediately replied.

"I'm not sure if this is a date but if Princess Aoi recognizes this a date then so I will". Shu replied.

"I see. Take care you two. Enjoy your visit here, Shu". Takeru said as he leaves and goes back to his position.

The two continued their walk now.

"Oh, so this is the Heart Kingdom. Then, where are we going first, Princess Aoi"?

"I don't really have anything particular place where I want to go".

Looks like she is in low spirits. I must lift up her mood.

"So turns out that both of us don't know any great places at our kingdom. Take me to where you always go, I'm pretty sure there's one".

"Ehh? But, is it alright? That place is, I just train their all the time".

"Oh, so you are just focusing on training. Say, why don't we train together today"?

"Are you alright with that"?

"Yeah. I'm the one who dragged you into this so let's just do what you want".

"Yeah yeah. Good work today, Aoi. See you tomorrow at the Magic Competition".

Shu leaves the Kingdom.

"I must report first to Wizard King before going to my house. I must go faster".

Shu moved faster so he can reach the Clover Kingdom immediately.

As he is on his way, he stopped.

Shu continued his walk back to the Clover Kingdom.

Soon enough, he reached the Wizard King's palace.

"Did you not disappoint the Princess on your date, Shu"?

"Then, why is the Princess interested in you"?

"I saved her five years ago during the attack of the demons. She remembers me".

"I see. Well, it's not like it will harm you when someone outside the kingdom know you are the Black Hero. More importantly, how's it going at the Academy"?

"The other day, the Student Council President of the Magic Academy, Himari Yotsuba gets possessed by a devil".
