Chapter 21 After Leila has left and Ira has done his daily check-in, I sit to continue my goodbye letter. It’s important to me to work on it today, after my night with Leila, so that I can make clear to the loved ones I intend to leave behind that I’m not doing this on a whim. And that sleeping with another woman, no matter how spectacular, is not something that will change my mind. Of course I won’t tell them about Leila. I will keep it vague.
