***Hazel’s POV***
She watched through her window as the sky changed from its evening colors to the beautiful orange-gray of the autumn sunset. It’d only been an hour or so since Nite left and she could feel the pain of his absence. She swam around the thoughts of what would happen when she left, where would she be placed? She was his mate, but she knew he wasn’t happy about it; wasn't happy with her. Tears welled up in her eyes at just the thought of him rejecting her.
