We looked out at the reflective pool and the clouds above as reflected from above.
Too soon, the peacefulness was ended. Doc came over, walking easily. His hands in his pockets.
"Well, have you two love birds gotten everything sorted out?" He asked.
"I... I mean, Andy..." I stuttered.
"Oh you haven't seen this coming?" Doc asked. He tut-tutted. "I didn't think that head thump you'd gotten had affected your thinking."
My face turned red. I looked at Andy.
He just smiled back at me. "Doc sometimes sees things that other people don't. He surprises me all the time." Andy said. "But it is time to go, and we did have a good time today, didn't we?"
