Rise of the Dragon Queen

Chapter two: Zoe Exousia Dragon

        November of 2000 it's almost been a decade since the last disaster hit different parts of the world and humans thought that it was caused only by the "climate change", though it's true that the change in climate really hit the mother nature so hard that the humanity almost got devour by the heat of the sun. 

        Ever since the dark dragon fallen the guardian loses its strength and the white dragons kept themselves busy in wise decisions and created magic that keeps the balance of the earth but since the throne needs two heirs to rule the kingdom the white dragons fallen weaker and weaker as the years go by without the power of the black dragons. So all the guardians strengthen their power by magic. 

        "ZOE!!!" melissa shouted as she saw zoe running around the house almost dropped a flower vase looking for something. "You need to be careful! that vase is worth our TV!" she said. 

         "I know melissa but I need to find my necklace!" she said in a very worry tone. It's the necklace that was given by her father, her father that she's not able to hug or even say she loves him so much and so her mother. she's very upset that when she woke up this morning she's not able to find the necklace beside her. 

            "Didn't you hide in your drawer last night? you said you had a bad dream the other night and you don't want someone to take it if it will com true" melissa said in a not very serious tone. 

Zoe realize that melissa have a point because every time she have the necklace on her side she's having nightmares of shadows that wants to take her then it will always go away once they hear a growl behind her but when she turns to see where the growl came from she will wake up, it's like telling her that it's not the time yet to show itself. that's why she's hiding the necklace where it cannot be seen in naked eyes then the nightmare stops. 

  Melissa knew that the nightmares are not dreams or imagination it's something more, She never hide the fact about guardians and magic well because zoe is too young to actually believe it she always thinks that every story is just a fantasy in a book where melissa memorized every detail of it. she lied that zoe is her sister and they're both just gifted wizard that cannot shift into their guardian forms because the king prohibits it. Zoe always ask her why but she will just changes the topic into magic that will divert her attention easily. 

    "Melissa found it!!! gonna go to school now!" zoe shouted as a bus stops in front of their house. melissa woke up from her thoughts 

    "NO MAGIC ZOE!!! NO MAGIC AT SCHOOL!" melissa shouted as a joke and waved back at the young zoe. she smiled and continued working on her chores. 

   when they arrived at school the teacher called them one by one and ask them to get a notebook and a pen and get their bags because they're going to the museum. lot's of kids said 'yey' some said eww but zoe is not very happy about this. she don't want museums, she don't like bones. 

inside the bus.

  "Move it loser" one bully said while pushing zoe and sit in the nearest chair that she can find, zoe rolled her eyes and just sits on the next available chair. zoe is the new kid in town they've been hopping and moving from one city to another because of melissa's job, that's why she don't have friends or even someone to talk to. They arrived at the museum and once again that same bully bumped the side of her shoulder and she felt a stinging pain. she's angry this time and she heard a growl. wait is that her? impossible that made her think about her necklace. it's gone, maybe when that bully bumped her the necklace dropped somewhere inside the bus or maybe outside the bus. 

zoe panicked and mrs. torres noticed her worry face "what's wrong darling?" the teacher asked. 

"My necklace is gone mrs. torres" zoe said as she tried to run back to the bus. 

"ok, hey hey" mrs. torres pulled zoe "I will find it for you okay? I will go to that bus and you will go to mr. torres so we can start the tour okay?"  mrs. torres said in a sweet loving voice, it's like loving mother that zoe always wanted. 

"Yes mrs. torres" zoe agreed and mrs. torres headed to the bus while zoe faced the museum and found mr. torres (mrs. torres' husban) waiting for her. she started walking. 

as zoe entered the museum she felt a very scary aura that not only everybody but everything around her is staring at her. what is this feeling? it's so heavy, zoe said to herself as she continue to walk along with other children. 

"ok let's stop here children, so this one is our 26th president" Mr. torres paused as he looked the wax figured facing them and smiling. it should be facing where the sun is rising and it gives him creep. "AH yea uhm" he is analyzing the wax figure.

"Hey teacher! why he looks so creepy?" one boy said. The children around them laughed and they thought that it was a joke that a wax figure is staring at them and smiling like a creepy old man. 

zoe is stared at the figured and she was shocked that when she met the wax eyes it dilated. she avert her gaze and stared at a different direction. 

"MHMM that's weird" he said "Ok children let's move along" mr. torres shouted and they continued walking. they stop in front of the big skeleton of a dinosaur. as mr. torres started to explain the history of the dino once again when he faced the skeletal figure it's  facing them. 

"OKAY That's it! you children stay here ok?" mr. torres said and rushed to the front desk that's not so far from them, three children secretly approached zoe. 

"hey new kid, you're creepy like that old man on the horse HAHAHA" the same bully said and again bumped her shoulder and this time she can't take it anymore she got her bag and threw it on the bullies. the boy stopped and faced zoe. 

she approached zoe and pulled her hair "OH are you going to fight me huh?" the bully said then one boy shouted "FIGHT" then all of the children cheered "FIGHT" multiple times. 

"HEY what's going on there!" Mr. torres shouted as he tried to get pass to the crowd of children who's watching zoe and her bully. 

"That's right you can't fight, what's your name again?" the bully asked. zoe felt fury and she's emitting aura that made the adults dizzy but the not affecting children. "zoe right? That's weird and your last name is even weirder hahaha" the bully paused "D-R-A-G-O-N" he said in slowmo 

"Zoe I found your necklace!!!" Mrs. torres entered the museum shouting and lifting the glowing red fiery necklace. 

The figures suddenly became alive from facing the necklace to facing zoe. 

Then everybody stopped as the skelital figure started moving and roared like it's alive. it's so fast that the figure caught the bully's bag and lifted him off from zoe "AHHH!!!" the boy shouted. 

zoe can't believe her eyes, she knew it that form the very first time she stepped inside the museum it's very very strange that everything is staring at her and there's no time to panic. she remembers that melissa once said that things or being might want to take and the only thing that can stop them is the necklace. 

She stood up and she saw that the bully is still crying in the air. while she's running a room full of animal figures like lion and monkeys tried to reach her and it's a good thing that this room is close. 

Then she stopped when a horse and a man on it  suddenly appeared in front of her 

"well well your highness, the shadow queen is waiting for you" the man said "and we will take you to her" the horse spoke. 

"What do you mean we!? I will take her to my queen" The man protest "NO I WILL'" The horse shouted and now they're fighting over zoe, she tried to run "WHERE ARE YOU GOING HIGHNESS?" the figures said in chorus. zoe didn't waste another second and ducked and crawled below the horse. 

"COME ER you brat" The man figure said but unable to catch zoe. 

"AHH" zoe shouted in fear as the figure is getting a hold of her or trying to catch her. 

a group of bat figure able to catch zoe and lifted her but zoe is so strong and starting to fight the figure and was able to escape the bat figures and not she's heading to her teacher mrs. torres who is still in shock. 

hundred of figures are chasing zoe, a large root able to get her by her waist but zoe manage to touch the fiery necklace and by one touch everything stops and the necklace sends waves of auras and this waves and drew the shadow souls out of the figures. The large root put zoe down and when she faced the museum again they're all lifeless and back to their normal figures. 

"MAMA!!!!" the bully shouted and cried while stuck in the mouth of skeletal figure.

"ZOE" melissa shouted as she felt the power from zoe. She lifted her arms "WAND" she shouted as a wand suddenly flew on her hand "Portivia portalus" she enchants and a portal appeared infront of her and she rushed to go to zoe.
