‘He asked after you. He was not that bad actually, he just wondered if you lived in Lion, and why he had never come across you before,’ Marilyn told Agnes. ‘I don’t understand. What does my being in Lion have to do with him? Bloody i***t,’ Agnes ranted. ‘Don’t speak of my boss in that way, please,’ Marilyn replied jokingly, while she served herself some of the pudding that Agnes had made. ‘Your Boss is a silly man,’ Agnes replied emphatically. ‘Please get the door. That should be Leo,’ Marilyn told Agnes when they heard the knock on the front door. Agnes opened the door to see Leo checking out Marilyn’s new car. ‘Please toss the key at me, Agnes,’ Leo yelped when he heard the front door swing open. Soon enough, Marilyn’s new Peugeot hummed alive while Leo inspected its features
