Marilyn stepped out of the car when she saw the aircraft descend. She darted her eyes around, looking for Daniel, and saw that he had started to make his way towards her on seeing her step out of the car.
‘I think she’s here,’ Marilyn told him and started to make quick steps towards the arrival section of the airport.
It was the first time since she started speaking with Agnes concerning this visit, that Marilyn had realised how hazy their communication had been.
All she had ever known was that her sister, Agnes, was landing in Lion by 8 PM on that day, and that was all.
‘Hi. Please, where is this flight coming in from?’ Marilyn asked a stranger who appeared to be waiting for her guest to alight from the same aircraft that Marilyn had her eyes on.
