Ruger rolled his eyes. Being caught up in the middle of Leo's lie at his age was embarrassing. He gave Leo a signal to go ahead and do what he was there for, but Leo was on the edge. 'Are you okay, babe?'' Marilyn asked Leo countless times within a short period because he was always zoning out. ''Yes,'' Leo always replied and said nothing more. ''What's wrong with your face? All these bruises. Were you in a fight?'' Marilyn suddenly asked, feeling the scars on Leo's face. Agnes made a face, although she hid it from Marilyn. ''I'm reacting to my new body wash,'' Leo lied. Agnes choked on her saliva. ''Oh, wow. What a reaction,'' Marilyn replied, looking closely at his face. ''These look more like injuries than rashes as a result of a reaction,'' she insisted. Leo ignored her.
