The bed sheet lured at me that I slept again and woke up after 3 hours. My plans for today is to meet up with Rain and start planning how to save our hotels. When I looked around my condo, it's empty but still I couldn't leave it alone. Mom was living her life alone same as me, lived here alone. I don't why I just can't leave this place, maybe this is part of me.
When I was passing by to take a bath, I saw the folder on the table but I looked away, maybe there is another way around
"seducing my ass".
I murmured.
I never see myself loving a man, I am never be against of that but maybe I jus didn't see my self to be like that.
How come, maybe there's a lot of ways, selling my hotels will be big No, partnership will be a good choice then I will make my proposal to them.
I shouted in frustration while grabbing my hair. I really need to take a bath and relax, unwind. I grab my phone then I texted my bestfriend to meet me at the Starbucks, like the old times.
"Hey, meet me at Starbucks. I'm on my way so I expect you to be there. Your treat"

I grabbed everything I need, and my attention was caught to the folder in the table, so I also take it with me.
I will also review the folder and do some spice to make my proposals alluring and tempting. Maybe He will agree to my proposal, I must make sure to that it is a win to win situation. When I'm on my way, I got called and answer it directly cause I know she'll gonna explode like a mad dog right now.
And sadly she has reasons, I am late. I sighed and answer the call.

" WOW! YOU'RE THE ONE WHO ASKED TO SEE ME YET YOU ARE LATE, NOT JUST LATE BY f*****g 30 MINUTES LATE! YOU SAID YOU'RE ON YOUR WAY, AH THE MOMENT YOU TEXTED THAT MESSAGE IS ALSO THAT THE TIME YOU WENT TO THE CR, AM I RIGHT?!
I sheepishly smile. I guess, today is my fault.

Before she could throw a fight, I ended the call and whispered, spare me please.
I drove fast and I smiled when I meet the glance of my bestfriend, and she looks so amgry.

I smiled that hope I could melt away her rough stares but I couldn't she's not inlove with me so I have no power.
" Minutes is just minutes, like what you said that you've been waiting for your life and today's is just a normal, right?"
She darted angry looks and kick my feet.
"Stop that facez you already ruin my day."
I just gave her a meek smile and give her the peace sign.
"You read the news?"
I said chase she has no idea that the boss of the Grand Hotel will be the son, the hottest billionaire in town. It's also my first time thatbI saw his face if mom wouldn't give me that folder or his need, I wouldn't have time do search of him.
" So the hottest billionaire, a Pilot who owns an airlines, and the CEO of the rising and most talked hotel over the whole country. He is a big fish, and a big catch, maybe you have to choose another company to be partnership with your hotels."
She said like she knew it was dangerous.
I know it's hard, he has everything he had and this hotel is just a piece of a cupcake not the real cake.

I murmured and look around, the students are now watching us that I smiled at them and they shouted like how they admired me.
I looled again with rain and sipped my drink.
"Maybe, I have to propose a partnership with Him, what do you think? like we will work as one and so that there will be no more competitor to my hotel and his. Imagine the aesthetic and classic Maruci Hotel and the Grand Roman Hotel will collide as one, it will bloom and grow and reserved till the next generations"
I said with my enthusiastic voice, I hope it is.
"Brian, with or without your hotel, they can still soar high, power, money and connections, they had it all and even his people. You know, they have everything, even they'll lost their hotels they can still make one or hundred of that, Billionaire, plus, model"
She said that also that what I thought.
"You can have it all, too"

I remained silent and thinking it also better to start that pace and promote my hotels.
I sipped my Dark Mocha Frappuccino. I raise my Frappuccino in leveled in her eyes.

I feel like the world stops, I give her a comforting smile.
" He's not yet, I thought you want to chase him?"
He took a deep breath and ate the last piece of cake.
" He's not inlove with me anymore so I can't steal him anymore and he can't be stolen, I have no hold in his heart"
She said like it's time to give up. I stood up and went to her to give her a hug and also she could lean on me.
She keeps on waiting, she's been through a lot. She still wait even they're apart bur then that's the painful of waiting you don't have the assurance thay he will still be yours of being apart. That, today you are his life but we don't know tomorrow he already had someone his world.
"You don't have to worry about me, I can handle it. Let's stop talking mine as if you don't have your own problems too."
She has also a point. She gently lean her head at my shoulder and I pat her head.
"You know what, this news will spread again, that we are in denial couple"
She said when she noticed that everyone is now looking at us and taking picture. I can't deny my visual and also Rain, she's a famous model too.
" Don't worry they deserved to see a handsome and hot of Brian Marruci, chased by women but never been trapped"
I said and that earns her laughed.

I asked her but she just kick my feet.

We stayed like this while I unfolded the folder. It feels like this when I stare at him I feel like I know him before or I just amazed how super good looking he is.

"Yup. I remember when there is competition in basket when we were third year or fourth year of college, yeaah, that's"
She said like she was not sure and she looled away.

I kicked her slightly when she had to open her awful mouth.

she just laugh at my reaction and continue eating. She knows how to piss me off, well.
