Your eyes widen at his actual size to you in real life. In the dreams it was sort of unreal but presented with his actual size in your tiny condo is something different. At five foot six you've never thought you were short. However, next to this seven foot 6 inch lycanthrope you’re like a midget. He’s a good two feet taller than you. Your head comes to the top of his leg.
You stretch out a hand in wonder, will he feel the same? Unsure of how his mind melding works you aren’t even sure if what was in your dream, will be what is standing in front of you. He closes his eyes and bends his head down for you to reach the top of his head. You stroke his nose, reaching up to run your fingers in his fur between his ears.
“Wait,” you say suddenly nervous. Sensing your anxiety he opens his eyes to study yours.
“What is wrong?” You hear his voice in your head, his mouth is not moving. Okay, that's one question answered.
“Nothing’s wrong, I just…” you bite your lip with nerves and a large tongue comes out and licks a full half of your face. You pull back, not sure if you’re disgusted or not. You’d swear the giant wolf smiled at the look on your face. You wipe your face with your shirt and hear a chuckle in your head.
“You’ll accept his kisses but not mine? Should I be offended?”
You look at him skeptically. “You’re not exactly a small animal giving kisses. You could bite off my entire head!”
At his hurt look you laugh and kiss his nose. “I just need to get used to it.”
He raises his head to lick you again but you quickly put up your hands and the kiss lands there.
“So, are you a full wolf? I mean lycanthrope? I’m still confused about the difference. Don’t you both change into wolves?”
His head nods once. “Yes but we are different breeds. As Gregory stated, we are larger, stronger, and faster. In a fight they don’t stand a chance against us unless they are a high ranking Alpha in a very large pack."
“So you’re a full wolf? Like those that dogs descended from?” You raise your hand with a twinkle in your eye and a small smirk. “So…I can do this?”
You start scratching behind his ears and his tail begins to wag. You start using both hands and his back leg begins to wiggle. In your head you’re hearing little noises that obviously aren’t voluntary. Your smile grows as you reach a certain spot and the noises actually come forth. In your head he’s now talking, “Yes. Right there! Oh, that feels so good. No, don’t stop! Oh yes, more, more.”
You lean in and whisper in his ear, “What a big, bad, scary wolf you are. I think your just a giant marshmallow.”
He shakes his head, throwing your hands off. If such a thing is possible, he looks embarrassed. “Only for mate.”
You smile, kiss his nose again and wrap your arms around his neck. His head rests over your shoulder and down the entire length of your back. After a few minutes he lifts his head, “Mate, I must go now, Gregory is wanting you back.”
You nod and step back to the archway. You wave as he begins to shift and whisper, “See you in my dreams.”

Within minutes, Gregory in all his glory is standing back in your living room. He looks pensive and unsure. You walk over, without his clothes, and wrap your arms around him. He envelopes you in his embrace until you pull back a bit and clasp his face in your hands.
“Thank you.” You kiss him tenderly, wrapping your arms around his neck and pulling him closer.
When you end the kiss he pulls back and looks at you quizzically. “For?”
“Not punishing him and letting him out to meet me.”
He searches your face and eyes. “You weren’t frightened by him?”
You tilt your head deciding to be fully honest. “At first. Your shifting sort of freaks me out. It just looks horrific and all sorts of painful.” You shudder in his arms and he tugs you closer. “His size, at first…" You start drawing circles on his chest. "1I don’t know. He seemed big but not THAT large in my dreams. He’s HUGE.”
Gregory nods and then tries to reassure you. “But he’ll never hurt you. You mustn't be afraid of him. He loves you. Almost as much as I do.”
“I know he’ll never hurt me, I can feel it." Gregory lets out a breath as you continue, "And I…am very fond of him. Do you know that the first time he came to me, he took me for a ride on his back?”
Gregory pulls back shocked, “What?”
You nod, “Yeah, it made me a little dizzy with how fast he was going in and out of the trees but it felt really freeing! And I could hear his laughter in my head so I knew that he was loving it. I didn’t want to ruin that for him. He took me to this little meadow with this gorgeous waterfall and tiny, little pond.”
Gregory’s head bends in thought, almost as if he's shocked.
“What?” You ask.
He looks up, an indescribable look of tenderness in his eyes. “He took you home." He smiles and pushes a strand of your hair behind your ear. "When you said he was mind melding into your dreams I thought that he was just randomly appearing. But he took you home.”
You eyes begin to glow in hope. “That place is real?”
He nods. "I misjudged him." He pulls you in closer and rests your head on his chest. "Yes. It is very real. It's our own private spot that we found during a run on the lands that the pack owns. We’ve never seen another soul there so we claimed it as just ours. Do you like it?”
You nod, smiling. “It’s so beautiful and peaceful! After taking me there the first time, that’s where we’ve met each time I dream. I almost don’t want to wake up sometimes.”
He squeezes you with happiness. “I’m glad. I’ve always wanted to build a cabin there, make it more of a real getaway. Would you like that?”
You nod as you snuggle in closer, inhaling his scent of pine and woods. Is this why he smells of fresh pine? Is it connected with his happy place?
“You have to work tomorrow don’t you?” He asks suddenly, as he's stroking your hair.
You nod, “Are you coming in? Wait. Did the transformation take too much out of you? You should have said! He told me you two were healthy enough!” You frantically start checking out his bare body. You run your hands up and down his arms and chest, turning him and lifting his arms. He starts to chuckle at your inspection when you find his newest scar. It's still red and inflamed from just barely healing.
“Is this the only one?” You ask as you trace it reverently. You lean down and begin kissing it.
He stands perfectly still under your ministrations but the minute your lips lift, he turns and sweeps you in his arms. He doesn't stop until he reaches your bedroom.
You look at him wide eyed. “You just said you still needed to heal! What are you doing? Put me down!” You say as you start wiggling in his arms.
He just grunts and tightens his grip. In the bedroom he throws you down on the bed and you realize, you're confronted with just what your ministrations did to him. He reaches down and pulls your pajama pants and underwear off with one swift move.
He eyes you with mirth. “I didn’t say I still needed to heal. YOU assumed that transforming took too much energy out of me.” He shakes his head at you, grabs the bottom of your shirt and pulls it over your head. "Woman I can shift whenever I want and have been doing so most of my life. It isn't even a thought nowadays."
His eyes begin to rove over your body, getting darker with desire. He grins, “I believe you fully checked me out. It seems to me that turn about is only fair.”
His hands begin to roam up and down the back of your thighs as his mouth latches onto your neck. By the time he’s done with both sides of your neck and collar bones, his hands have moved north and are kneading your breasts. Tiny little moans and sighs are escaping from you.
He lifts his head up, staring into your eyes. “I 've found no defaults in my examination but just to be sure.”
He joins the two of you as one and you can’t ever remember what life was like before this man . How have you lived without the feelings that he invokes in you.

You wake up to an empty bed but find a single red rose on his pillow with a note.
Sam,
I don’t know what I did to deserve you but I thank the Goddess each minute I get to spend with you. I had to get in my run and then change. I’ll be back to pick you up. Breakfast and coffee are in the kitchen.
I love you.
Gregory
I love you. Your finger runs back and forth across those words. What he did to deserve me? I never in my wildest dreams imagined a man like him would ever even look at me twice! What have I ever done to be this deserving? You roll onto your stomach and pick up the rose, lifting it to your nose to smell.
He loves me. A silly stupid grin spreads across your face and your do a little wiggle happy dance into the bathroom. You turn on your music and in the shower begin replaying the previous evening. Seeing Fenrir, larger than life in your living room and then making love to Gregory for the second time that day. You’re happy dancing while singing and washing your hair. After a minute, one of Gregory’s comments comes crashing back to you.
“He loves you. Almost as much as I do.” You stop, soap all in your hair, running down your back and almost into your eyes. You rub it away with the back of your hand as you realize, he said he loved me last night! Felling stupid you smack yourself and get suds all in your face and mouth. Spitting and cursing you step under the spray to rinse off. When you open the shower curtain you’re met with a chuckling Gregory standing in the bathroom doorway. He’s kidnapped your towel.
Pushing your wet hair out of your face you try to scowl at him but damn he looks good in a suit! You put your hands on your hips trying to look intimidating and confront him. “And just what are you laughing at?”
He puts his coffee down on the sink counter and walks forward holding your towel. “Well when I arrived I heard the music and you singing and thought for sure I was going to have to get my suit all wet again.”
You put your tongue in your cheek and give him the stink eye. He laughs right out. Bopping you on the nose but then adds, “But then it stopped and I heard spitting and cursing and thought I might just have to give you mouth to mouth.” His eyes drop to your lips, “You still don't sound like you're breathing well enough.”
Before you can say anything, his mouth is on yours, his tongue requesting entrance. You gladly give it. As your wet arms snake around his shoulders he hands take over your toweling. He's rubbing it up and down and into your hidden crevices. After a few steamy moments he pulls back and hands you back the towel.
“Unless we call in again, we aren’t going to be on time. Take over, I need to step out into the cold for a minute.”
As he leaves the bathroom, you just blink at his retreating back. Your body is buzzing and your brain is not functioning. You drop your towel on the toilet seat and step back into the shower, throwing the water on cold.
When you appear in the kitchen, he’s sitting at the table with a financial report in front of him .His suit jacket off and draped over the other chair. Without even looking up he points over to the jacket. “Remind me to start investing in water resistant material.”
As you pick up his coffee for a sip you eye his suit coat. It has two very visible long wet marks on the shoulders. You pick it up and head back to the bathroom to grab the hair dryer. Five minutes is about all you can spare to try and rescue it.
The spots are still present but not as damp when you bring it back and help him slip it back on. He straightens his sleeves and adjust his tie.
You’re frowning slightly as you try to smooth it out but he removes your hands. He grabs your breakfast in one hand and your hand in the other, heading out the front door.
As you arrive at the office, the spots aren’t totally obvious but definitely still there. You sigh in frustration but he seems unfazed. As you step out of the car, he lifts your chin to stare him in the eyes. He’s smiling. “No worries." He says with a peck on your lips. " I’m a man. I’m not married or a father so people will probably think I just had a very excellent morning.”
You blush, looking down as you begin walking forward. He takes your arm and then whispers in your ear, “Now if they’d been left by your thigh and not your arms, my smile would be much bigger and they’d have something to really whisper about.”
