The shadows are gathering again, the cold is setting in. You’ve seen no one, nor heard anyone all day. Your only company the sound of scampering rats around you and their little squeaks now and then. Has it been a full day? It doesn't feel like it, perhaps it's going to storm? The air has gotten chillier and your body is cramping everywhere. The clamp on your leg is attached directly to the wall so there is no give room. You can scoot forward or back, you even stood once. However the pain in your ankle from the clamp had you dropping back down and twisting your leg the wrong way. You promised they wouldn’t see you cry and they won’t. But there is no one here but you now. You tenderly draw your body up to your leg, biting your lip at the pain. Tears leak out the sides of your eyes
