10 GOLDIE I held my breath as the last fireworks faded into the night air and the crowd cheered. Everything went off as planned. Every single thing. It felt like it wasn’t real. Like some disaster was coming. But none happened yet. And the night was over. Was it possible we were going to make it through the weekend unscathed? People filtered out of Catherine Park toward their vehicles and homes and hotels. I smiled and said good night to people when they thanked me for the event. I still held my breath.
