The crowd started to thin out, but Silas stayed through all of the hustle and bustle of a busy Saturday. I was starting to get worried. I haven’t seen Kai in yet, and he’s normally here close to opening, like Silas. I heard the door swing open, and both Silas and I looked up. There, Kai was with his head hung low and his face bright red. He almost looked like he had gotten into a fist fight with the way he was trembling.
“Hey, you okay, Kai?”
He sits on the bar stool and shakes his head. “Nah, my mom and brother were being d***s today.”
“O-oh, what happened i mean, if you wanna talk about it.”
“Just them being homophobic bigots is all. The norm.”
Silas looks over at him. “Ahh, your family not being supportive of who you love?” He blushes a little.
Kai nods. “My mom was going on about her neighbor being gay and how it was wrong, and I just couldn’t handle it anymore and told them I’m bi… I wasn’t even planning on telling them I am, it just sorta slipped out…”
“Hey, it’s okay, Kai… I’m sure they’ll eventually get over it, and if not, welcome to the disappointed family club,” my hand rests on top of his. “How about a drink on the house?”
I poured him a bourbon and slid it down to him.
“Thanks, guys… I just wish my family wasn’t so ugh close-minded.”
Silas grimaced a smile. “I take it they weren’t happy when you came out?”
He shakes his head. “The look on their faces… it was filled with disappointment.” He throws back the glass of bourbon.
“Hey, we’re here for you, Kai. Just like you’re here for us. We love you, and I hope you know that.”
Kai nods as he traces the rim of her glass with his forefinger. My heart felt like it was breaking. He wasn’t just my lover but a friend, and I hated to see him hurting. I looked over at Silas as he placed a hand on Kai’s shoulder. A small encouraging smile.
“Hey, we got you. We really do love you, and we’re here. No matter what, okay?”
Kai just hangs his head. “I know… I just wish my family weren’t so bigoted.”
I walked around the bar’s counter and hugged him. My hands rubbed up and down his back. “Hey, and if they can never see that you’re happy, that’s on them, Kai. Parents should embrace their children and love them unconditionally.”
He melted into me, and I held him tighter. Silas rested his large hand on Kai’s knee and squeezed. Kai sighed and lay his head on my chest.
“Thanks, I love you both so much… even though I’m still battling my internalized homophobia. I’m getting there though… I want to be able to be proud of who I am so I can show you both off to the world…”
I pulled away and planted a kiss on his cheek. “Take your time, baby, we’ve got all the time in the world, and we wont rush it. We want you to be comfortable and happy.”
“Thanks, I mean that I really do.”
“Until you’re ready to shout it from the rooftops, we’ll support you anyway we can. Right, Iris?”
I nodded. “Exactly. We both know were not like some dirty secret, and we’ll be patient.”
Silas and I pulled away as we watched his reaction, and when the tears started to pool at his lash line, my heart broke. I have never seen Kai cry before. My body stiffened, and I embraced him again. I let his tears soak my work shirt. I knew he needed this. Needed to cry it out so he could overcome the thoughts swirling inside of his head.
Seeing him like that made me want to confront my mother again about the nullifying magic… I just don’t think she’ll ever be honest and tell me the truth. I knew I had to try again. I needed to know. If Kai could confront his family about his true self, I knew I could too. I needed to know the truth about my magic… I needed to know about our heritage. Even if it’d break me.
“Hey, Kai, you’re stronger than you know, and everything will work out, I promise…”
He nodded and sniffled into my chest. “Thanks, both of you. You guys don’t know how lucky I feel right now, having two people who care about me… That wants me to be happy.”
I stood up on the tips of my toes to kiss him. I kissed him. It was like I needed it to survive. It was all teeth and tongue, and when we pulled away, we were both trying to catch our breath. “f**k, Kai, I love you. I love both of you, and nothing will change that.”
The rest of the night went by in a blur, and somehow we had ended up back at my place. The way Silas pushed me down onto the bed and started to undress me, it felt like heaven. The way Kai nipped and sucked on every expanse of my exposed skin sent electricity through my body. I looked up at both of them as I breathed hard and fast. My heart was racing, and I could hear it thumping in my ears.
“I’m ready. I want both of you in me. I want both of you to c*m inside of me.”
Kai and Silas exchanged looks, and the way their lips pulled into a huge grin made my heart swell. I knew this was where I wanted to be underneath them as they explored my body. Silas’ hands rested on my inner thighs as he spread them apart.
“f**k I can’t wait to be inside of this wet and tight cunt… Tell me, baby, what you need… what you want.”
“I want both of you to stretch my cunt. f**k me into oblivion. Breed me. f**k I don’t care, I just want to feel both of your c***s inside of me.”
