I’d imagined the worst scenarios of how I could get out of the stinky basement but all in vain. I’d never see the sunset, the last sun rays that touched my skin were from the day I tried to escape . I’d close my eyes and imagine them dancing on my skin, and that made me smile sometimes. I had nothing good in life, except the pregnancy which I’d bet if they allowed me to keep it.
