Chapter 38

1230 Words

I walked in front of him , i could feel his puzzled look burning my back, as soon as i walked out of the lobby to the streets, i let out the air I was holding, I was too nervous to say goodbye to him. He called me a cab, which he always pays for to take me back to the help center. He opened the door for us, and we got in. He leaned through the window. “Call me, when you get home,” he said , I dared not to look at his face . I nodded. “Okay, see you,” he said as the cab driver drove away. As we drove past everything, one thing i couldn’t get over with, were his eyes, that man had always been hot and I’d never wanted to see him like that. Now that it had happened , I was getting cold feet over it, mixed feelings. I’d never want to go through what I’d been through, not again.
