The mall was empty when Amelia arrived with Hazel, with Halo by her side giggling happily while playing with Amelia's hair. The high ceiling adorned with crystal chandeliers cast a warm golden glow on the white marble floor, with a golden stripe on it welcomed Amelia. The mall screamed luxury with the first ground lined with different fashion houses displaying their product. A spiral staircase led to the upper floor where jewelries were on display. Amelia's eyes darted in shock at the huge mall before raising her shoulders high. She doesn't fit in this place even as a princess, but she would try everything not to let Hazel down. "Welcome ma'am, I'm Stellar," Amelia shifted her gaze to the lovely lady smiling at them. Her black gown uniform hugged her slender curvy body beautifully, she shifted her gaze to Hazel and bowed. "Your Highness, the mall is arranged as you want it and the changing room is ready." Hazel nodded. "Good, lead the way." She ordered before turning to Amelia. "I'm so excited." She beamed. Amelia felt special with the way Hazel associated with her, she only showed her warm side to her, but Amelia sighed overwhelmed. She pulled Halo's hand from her mouth. "I don't know…this isn't what I…never mind." Hazel exhaled pulling Amelia closer, her soft eyes gazed into hers. "I understand, and I don't expect you to be as excited as me. I won't force you to be, but just try to open your heart." Amelia smiled at her and nodded, she understood that Hazel was being helpful, and she was grateful for that. Hazel's presence since she got here made the palace not as dreadful as she imagined but It's hard for her to be carefree. They arrived at the changing room and the structure made Amelia's jaw drop. It was massive and the changing room alone was the size of the mall in her pack. They had their seats and Stellar brought them a magazine containing different designs of wedding gowns, Amelia scrolled through it and none was what she wanted. They are revealing too much skin, and she wanted something that would hide her scars. "Pretty…pretty," Halo slapped a picture on the magazine continuously and Amelia was forced to check it, a smile pulled on her face seeing the picture. The mermaid gown was embedded with pearls at the chest area, it had a net sleeve with glossy feathers at the edge. It showed a bit of cleavage and no other skin showed. "Halo!" Amelia exclaimed, pecking her forehead which made her giggle. "This is cute." Steller's lips curled into a smile, "She is cute, is she your daughter?" Amelia's eyes glanced at her. "No, she isn't." Even though she loved children so much, she doubted she would have one. Her contract with Alpha King forbade her, a silly thought danced in her mind, how would their child have looked? She shook the thought away, gosh she wished so much. Stellar gasped. "I'm sorry, I thought she was yours since she was with you." Hazel chuckled. "Turns out she loves her more than her mama." She pinched Halo's chubby cheeks which made her cry and hugged Amelia tightly, shielding herself from Hazel, and that made them laugh. "I want this then," Amelia said, pointing at the one Halo chose. Stellar smiled. "Good, we just need your measurement and it will be delivered in no time." Amelia closed the magazine and adjusted Halo on her thigh looking softly at her. "Halo dear, I will be back within minutes okay." She placed her on Hazel's thigh. "Okay, Aunty." She nodded obediently and Amelia smiled at her before following Stellar. __ Amelia had never been bored like this in her life, just two hours after getting back from the mall. She had tried every clothes in her closet, sorted them out to their sizes, and rearranged the room. She sighed, throwing the dust brush away, that was the third time she was dusting the empty bookshelf. She needs to make money and refurbish the room to add some life to it. After much debate she decided to check out the palace, she grabbed her coat and stepped out of the room. Luckily, she met a maid down the hallway who showed her the way to the Flamingo garden. Who would have thought there were flamingos in the palace? Her eyes widened as the flamingos wandered through the green garden, colorful butterflies flew around the flowers. Two flamingos fly around the fountain creating a water splash. She inhaled the cool breath and smiled, then moved through the magical garden until she got to a lake with Swans in it. "Wow." She muttered taking a seat on the bench, she dipped her legs into the lake and watched as the swans played together. "What are you doing here?" She jumped back at the familiar voice. There, King stood behind the bench, wearing a black robe showing his toned torso and she swallowed her lump. "I asked a question." He repeated walking over to her. Amelia moved back looking anywhere but him, her heart pounding in her chest. "I…I came for fresh air." Her voice came out above whisper, the silence from him sent chills down her spine. His stares became intense on her. She shifted under his gaze. "I can leave if you want to stay here." King's gaze lasted seconds on her again before shifting his gaze from her and sat on the bench. "Stay." He said curtly and crossed his legs over each other. "The wedding is on Wednesday." Amelia gasped, turning to him, "Wednesday! That's tomorrow, the dress is not even ready, that's too fast." King angled his brow, his eyes twitching in surprise. "Why? Do you have anyone coming? This isn't a dream wedding you know? Just a business." Amelia blinked back tears as she cast her head down while wiping her face, the words cut deep into her heart. She couldn't let his words get to her so she lifted her gaze with a smile. "I knew this wasn't a dream wedding, and I never saw it as one. I was only worried for the designers but it seems that shouldn't be my worry also." She did a mental dance in her head with the way her voice came out steady. King smirked and scoffed. "Really? Worried for them or are you lying?" Amelia shrugged. "No, Alpha King." She countered, her insides breaking counter to her strong demeanor, before raising her shoulders. "I will take my leave now." She said without sparing him a glance. King grabbed her hand and pulled her back, she fell on his thigh making her gasped loudly. "You don't walk out on me lady, " He wrapped his hand around her neck, tears welled up in her eyes while looking at him, placing her hand on his hand. "I won't next time." She sniffed, fisting his hand grabbing her neck, his hold on her wasn't tight but she couldn't help the tears falling from her eyes. King scoffed, pushing her to the chair, "That wasn't even harsh on you." He hissed standing from the bench. He watched her for some minutes before shaking his head. "Next time, learn to say thanks when someone does something to you." He spat before storming away.
