Chapter 40: Day Forty

After the great conflict he had with his mother, Mason simply picked up his things and went to his lover’s hotel room…
“You’re here? I was just going to call you-” Edward was interrupted by his lover’s darkened expression. “What’s the matter?”
“Nothing…” Mason simply entered the room and took his clothes off, then headed to the shower. “I feel dirty, I’m going to shower…”
“Alright…” Edward answered as he observed his lover’s behavior. ‘Did something happen at his place?’ He wondered but couldn’t ask, he heard the shower turn on.
About thirty minutes later Mason went out of the shower with nothing but a towel wrapped about his waist and went to lay down on the bed.
