Xavier's POV
I stared at Celeste as she laid down on the couch in my office. She was reading the book that she had taken from the library, "Pride and Prejudice." Every now and then she would laugh and then flinch. I had already asked Zay if there was anything she could do but she was busy sewing up a training accident between four people. Hopefully she would be free soon to help Celeste. I watched her for another minute, my eyes not wanting to leave her. Her eyebrows scrunched together in confusion. “What’s wrong?”
“Uh, just a character being stupid.” She was lying. This was probably about her bad reading skills. She could read, I knew that. She has gone over paperwork with me before but she isn’t the greatest. She doesn’t like it being brought up though so I’ll let it slide for now.
