ROWAN “Hello sweetness,” Nate greeted me as soon as I stepped into his office.   He was already standing and making his way towards me. Probably as a result of Dex—who I had now accepted was my half-brother—giving him a heads up. I internally shuddered at the mere thought of siblings, especially with the envelope that was in my hand.   The panic was setting in hard, but as soon as Nate wrapped his arms around me, the worst of it was subsiding.   I found I liked affection even though I was so new to it. Sammy made me take a test the other day to find what my love language was. I thought it would be useless, but it actually made sense, at least my therapist seemed to agree. All the love languages sounded good to me.   Words of affirmation? Yes.   Receiving gifts? Why not?   Qual
