ROWAN I wished Nate would have been a little selfish and told me to stay. That I belonged with him and nowhere else. I wouldn’t have even minded because he loved me. I would have stayed knowing that he loved me freely and wouldn’t ask anything of me in return. Was that too much to ask for? He wouldn’t ask me to work harder. He wouldn’t have silently demanded for me to give more than I was physically or mentally able. But I would have done it for him anyway. I just wanted him to tell me to stay.
