ANNA NAGAR
“You need to see my car, it's luxurious. It's something I couldn't get while I was with you know who.” I said, laughing as Sam and I sat across each other eating lunch. “You won't even mention his name?” She asked, raising her brows as I scoffed.
“You're gonna jinx the atmosphere, it's not needed.” She nodded and continued to eat. I pulled my scarf tighter, smiling too widely to show I was happy but deep down? I wasn't.
The scarf around my neck was to hide the terrible bruising I got from Trevor a few nights ago. We'd just arrived from a party and he was wasted again.
“Anna…” the voice sounded distant.
“Anna, can you hear me?” Sam asked, waving her hands over my eyes.
“Yeah I am, I'm fine.” I stuttered, smiling at her but from her frown,I could tell she didn't buy my fake smile. “What's with the scarf? I didn't think you loved scarves and I've known you for so many years, since high school.”
“It matches my dress.” I simply said and continued eating.
“You know you can tell me anything right?” She asked and I nodded. “Yeah,I know and I'm grateful for that.” I replied.
“You're not telling the truth,I can feel it and I just wish you'd trust me enough to tell me the truth. I know you're hiding something behind that scarf.” I could feel my anger rising, my hands were fisted already, probably waiting to hit the table, create a scene and get her mind off it.
“Hickey.” I blurted out and she blinked rapidly. “Wait..” she said, chuckling. “Don't tell me you got me worried over a hickey?” I laughed out loudly, shrugging my shoulders.
“Hickeys, lots of it. I told you not to worry yourself but I guess you don't listen.” We both laughed at my statement before we continued to enjoy our lunch.
I got back home when the sun was already setting and as soon as I walked into the room,I met Trevor sitting and backing the door.
“You were gone for most of the day.” He started and I felt my palm become sweaty. “I spent the day with Sam, are you okay?” I asked and he scoffed before standing up.
“You b***h! Come over here.” I scurried over to meet him, tears already pooling in my eyes as his hand held my throat. My lungs burned as I struggled to breathe.
“Y.. you're hur…ting me.” I croaked out, my throat burning from the sensation but nothing prepared me for his next action. He flung me across the room and walked over to meet me.
“Get back on time, now suck my d**k!” I obeyed immediately and he brought his d**k out and shoved it in my mouth.

“You've been avoiding our outing for a whole month and I find it suspicious.” Sam said and I sighed as I dabbed my bruises with normal saline.
“Trevor has been busy so he placed me in charge of some __”
“You're lying.” She countered, cutting my statement short as I swallowed my words. “What do you mean?” I asked, feigning ignorance.
“Something is wrong yet you're refusing to say what it is, that's not right. You can tell me anything and we'll think about it, we'll think of what to do.” She said and I closed my eyes.
“He hits me.” I said in a whisper. “But he spoils me silly.” I added and heard her sigh. “Jimmy never hit you,you know that but just a few months with Trevor? Come on.”
“Did you hear what I said?” I asked and she sighed.
“He spoils you silly? Seriously?” She asked. “Of course, that's all that matters so I really don't understand what you mean.”
“You do, you're defending him because of luxury but I'll tell you this, talk to him, tell him about your feelings, how you hate him hitting you and let's see how he takes it.”
“And if it doesn't stop him?” I asked and heard her sigh.
“Then I really don't know, you should talk to him first and then we'll know what to do when he responds.”
That evening, I had the maid prepare his favorite food coleslaw, some fries, veggies and cold lamb. He looked surprised when he saw it and we shared a kiss.
“How was today?” I asked as he pulled out a seat for me. “Thanks.” I whispered as he leaned in to kiss my lips.
“Great, I can see you did all these and I'm sure there's a reason.” He paused. “Your card declined? Is your car faulty? You can use any other one.” I sighed.
“No, that's not it. I need to talk to you about something. It's been bothering me and I feel we need to address it.” He nodded and looked at me.
“I'm listening.”
“I feel terrible anytime you hit me.” I started, gauging his reaction. He dropped his fork with a loud thud which made me jerk. “What's this?” He asked.
“I just want us to talk, you've been hitting me for a while now and I feel terrible about it. I know it's work related, the stress,I know so I don't fault you about it,I just wish you can talk to me about it, about anything.”
“I'm sorry.” He whispered, taking my hands in his as he pulled me out of my seat. “I'm really sorry for hitting you,I shouldn't have started it in the first place and that's bad.” I nodded, tears pooling in my eyes as he kissed my lips.
One swift movement and the plates and food came crashing to the floor and he placed me on the table, his lips never leaving mine.
His fingers found their way under my dress as he slid one finger in my p***y, moving it in and out as I gasped for air.
“You're f*****g hot.” He whispered against my neck.
