Everything had been going perfectly, Sophie was receptive to our advances, we had a wonderful swim and an even greater kiss. We were about to take our little Omega home and find out a little bit about how she lived. Everything was great, so of course it all had to come crashing down.
Conversation was flowing naturally and her hand was so warm in mine that I wasn't paying attention to anything around us. The building was typically very safe and even though we had shut out our pack mind-link there shouldn't have been any emergencies.
