Sophie's POV
After about 12 hours Angela was cleared to go back to her own room. Before that happened though I got to see Hannah and talk with Angela. Both of them seemed happy, almost on a high over the possibility of mating soon. I was happy for them, I really was, even if it made me feel guilty about my own bond and the choices I was about to make.
Angela took the time to tell me that she wasn't mad at me and that she was sorry she failed me, but it was hard to believe her. How could it be her failure when I was the one who ran away in the first place? I was the one who couldn't handle the pressure of something I had knowingly gotten into. It was all my fault.
