4 The matte-white walls inside the house didn’t make me feel better about being locked in with Raven. I glanced back at the door, ready to whisper a quick Portunda just to be sure I could make the door reappear. But Elizabeth gave a tiny shake of her head, so I silently followed her farther down the pure white hall. I’d been in Eric’s house often enough that the fact that the hallway was way too long to fit in Raven’s house didn’t really freak me out.
